They Said What?!
Welcome back to the trial of the century.
FX's new hit drama The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story has captivated the nation, proving viewers are still just as enraptured by the infamous O.J. Simpson trial in 2016 as they were in 1995.
Along with brilliantly re-introducing us to the main players and the trial's most infamous moments (the Bronco chase, the haircut, the glove. etc.), the show is gifting us with some pretty iconic lines, which E! News will be rounding up for you all season-long...
"[Nicole Brown Simpson] was my personal angel. I wouldn't have gone to rehab if it weren't for her." –Faye Resnick (Connie Britton)
"I'm not, like, an official person. I just kinda live back here." – Kato Kaelin (Billy Magnussen)
"I can't dress too festive, I need to be strong, uplifting. Lime green…that would be exceptional, except then I got to run out to Neverland. MJ's got some new pile of commotion, so I can't wear lime—Michael's afraid of that color. I never met someone with so many phobias. Purple, that would be fun…no, I don't want to look like no grape." –Johnnie Cochran (Courtney B. Vance)
"So, Brando came to me weeping. He said, my son is facing life in prison, Bob, can you help? So I'm busy, but it's Marlon, so I go to the DA and explain you cannot prove premeditation. Guns go off! Cut a deal, everyone's happy, the son plead to manslaughter, he's out in five." –Robert Shapiro (John Travolta)
Gil Garcetti (Bruce Greenwood): "He's the Juice. He rushed more than 2,000 yards in one season!"
Marcia Clark (Sarah Paulson): "I have no idea what that means, but you know what? It shouldn't matter. He got away with beating her, but he is not going to get away with killing her!"
