Kanye vs. Taylor Swift
It all started with West interrupting Swift during her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs, when 'Ye took the mic from Taylor and claimed Beyoncé was more deserving to win the Best Female Video award. The stars later made up, but the feud was seemingly reignited when the rapper name-checked Taylor in his 2016 song "Famous." In the song the rapper said: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous."
Kanye vs. Wiz Khalifa
In early 2016, the two rappers got into it with a brief Twitter feud that started with talk about West's new album name and things quickly got personal. West mentioned Khalifa's son and his ex Amber Rose in his rant, and Rose (who has also previously dated West) responded on Twitter with: "Awww @kanyewest are u mad I'm not around to play in ur a--hole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyA--Bitch." In the end, Khalifa and West as well as Kim Kardashian and Rose all made up and are cool for now.
Kanye vs. Jimmy Kimmel
Jimmy Kimmel spoofed an interview West did with BBCRadio in 2013, and the rapper was not pleased with the funny segment. Kanye lashed out in a Twitter rant with gems like: "SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU F--KING BEN AFFLECK…#NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!" West has since appeared on Kimmel's show, and it would appear all is well between the two.
Kanye vs. Bruno Mars
Who even knew these two had a beef?! Turns out 'Ye dissed the "Uptown Funk" singer onstage at the Bonnaroo Music Festival and issued a public apology to Mars in 2015 on Twitter. "I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist," said West.
Kanye vs. George W. Bush
Remember when West called out the leader of the free world? That happened. During a televised Hurricane Katrina charity telethon in 2005, West said: "George Bush doesn't care about black people." Bush later spoke out in an interview, saying West's comment was "one of the most disgusting moments" of his presidency. The rapper later expressed remorse and Bush said he appreciated the apology, adding: "I don't hate Kanye West."
Kanye vs. Evel Knievel
The legendary stunt performer sued West over using his image in the rapper's "Touch the Sky" music video, calling the video a "worthless piece of crap." The two later made up and settled the suit days before Knievel's passing in late 2007.
Kanye vs. MTV
The rapper was upset he lost all five awards he was nominated for at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. He was also not thrilled that the network asked Britney Spears to open the show and not him, saying: "Maybe my skin's not right." 'Ye later decided he's OK with MTV... in fact, he received the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award at the 2015 VMAs.
Kanye vs. Beck
Kanye dissed Beck following the 2015 Grammy Awards, again invoking Beyoncé. "Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé," said West. Beck took the high road, and Kanye later apologized, calling Beck a "gentleman."
Kanye vs. Dennis Haysbert
In his song "All Day," West didn't use Haysbert's name, but did reference the actor, rapping: "You a fake Denzel like the Allstate n----." Haysbert didn't think it was very smart on West's part to cite Allstate or Denzel Washington, telling ABC Radio in 2015: "He's got a couple of entities that he's got to deal with. God help him."
Kanye vs. Justin Timberlake
During a 2013 concert, West sounded off on Jay Z and Justin Timberlake's collaboration: "I got love for the Hov, but I ain't f--king with that 'Suit and Tie' s--t." Justin fired back during an SNL performance, changing his lyrics to sing: "hit's so sick, got rappers acting dramatic." Timberlake later appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and said he's got nothing but love for Kanye.
Kanye vs. Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh
Kanye slammed Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh on a podcast in 2013 for alleged unsolicited advice, saying: "I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he's trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this s--t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling s--t product." Zappos' response? The site started offering something called a "S--t Product," which was a toilet and plunger available for a reasonable $100K.
Kanye vs. South Park
In 2009, Comedy Central's South Park did a Kanye-themed episode entitled "Fishsticks" about how the rapper can't take a joke. 'Ye took it surprisingly took it pretty well on his blog, saying he found it funny but admitted "it hurts my feelings."
Kanye vs. Nike
The rapper-mogul partnered with Nike to release his own shoe line but after reported disagreements he later decided to work with Adidas instead. Most recently he shaded Nike on his song "Facts," rapping: "If Nike ain't have Drizzy, man they would have nothin' / If Nike ain't have Don C., man they would have nothin' / Yeezy Yeezy Yeezy they line up for days / Nike out here bad they can't give shit away... Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves / Gave LeBron a billi' not to run away."
