Future Castings
We're thinking ahead! Here are some of our options for when Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill hang up their capes.
Michael B. Jordan as Superman
He might have lost in Creed, but Jordan learned a lot of fighting skills for the role. That combined with his pumped-up body make him the perfect fit for our favorite flying superhero.
Sam Claflin as Superman
If he can be the victor of at least one Hunger Games, then surely he's equipped to protect Mankind while simultaneously holding a day job as a journalist.
Channing Tatum as Superman
He's strong, handsome and can probably wear a pair of glasses really well, so obviously that makes him the perfect Clark Kent-Superman.
Charlie Hunnam as Batman
Sure, his ride of choice in Sons of Anarchy was a motorcycle, but who's to say you can't just swap out the bike for a car and leather jacket for an intimidating batsuit? Hunnam can brood just as Bruce Wayne can, making him the perfect hero to take down whatever villain seems to be causing a ruckus.
Idris Elba as Batman
People have been vying for him as the next James Bond, but we could easily see him driving the heck out of that Batmobile while saving the people of Gotham.
Vin Diesel as Batman
If his large, muscular size weren't enough of a reason, there's always the fact that he's passionate about the people in his life. Just watch any of the Fast and Furious movies and you'll know he's dedicated to protecting those he loves, which is now the people of Gotham.
