Ciara

Every red carpet has its casualties...these are the CFDAs'.

The singer (turned pirate?) donned this pale pink shaggy number. Thinking the lace-up detail in the front and the tutu-like skirt are where it went in an unexpected direction.

Karlie Kloss

Karlie is almost always a favorite of ours, but we just can't get behind this multi-layered number with faux wings. Pairing the look with sparkling pale pink pumps didn't necessarily help.

America Ferrera

This silhouette is, arguably, a bit dated. The collared maxi dress just isn't sophisticated enough for an event like this.

Ansel Elgort

Getting major Sarah Jessica Parker at this year's Met Gala vibes with Ansel's outfit.

Martha Hunt

It's the styling that made Martha miss her mark. The dress has major potential.

Samira Wiley

It's a shame the OITNB star's patterned, A-line dress just isn't doing her glowing skin justice.

Gillian Jacobs

If there was such a thing as being too symmetrical, this dress is it. The matchy-matchy embellishments aren't working for the actress.

Lena Dunham

Two words: bunny slippers. Lena made a surprising choice in accessories.

Tory Burch

Designer Tory Burch gets it when it comes to stepped-up classics. But, if we're being honest, her ruffled, boxy take on red carpet style is doing nothing for her figure.

Adriana Lima

Adriana usually dresses to impress, but too many trends at once is never a good idea. Next time, we say pick just one: crushed-velevt pants, a choker or slicked-back hair.

Constance Jablonski

We love a good off-the-shoulder moment as much as the next girl, but this layered chiffon iteration feels a little outdated.
