Nicole walked the red carpet for her film The Human Stain in which she played the very unglamorous role of both a janitor and Anthony Hopkin’s lover. The horrible glittered suit and attempt at serious ‘tude may have been distracting at the time, but looking back, her wrinkle-free forehead could have been a warning sign.

In 2005, the once super-A-list star’s name was in the headlines for all the wrong reasons—mainly her not-spellbinding performance in Bewitched, which eventually won her a Razzie. But Nicole turned her luck around and got married to country hunk Keith Urban in 2006. We can safely say Nicole looked like a Barbie on her wedding day, with about as much expression.

Keith vowed to love Nicole for better or for worse, and as he leans in to give her a smooch at the Academy of Country Music Awards, we couldn’t help but think this was one of the “for worse” times. Is it just us, or does Nicki look a bit like Joan Rivers getting a peck from Melissa?

The paparazzi snapped a pic of Kidman as she filmed her next movie Rabbit Hole, about a couple who deal with the death of their son. Sounds like pretty powerful stuff, so it’ll be interesting to see how Nicole pulls it off without any range in her face whatsoever. Even trying to smile, there’s not a wrinkle that can be found on her supersmooth gaze.

Making an appearance at the Omega boutique in New York, Nicole’s mannequin-like pose wasn’t the only thing resembling plastic. The star looked harder than ever, from the top of her implacable forehead to the tip of her high-heeled toes. She’s beginning to resemble some kind of strategic military weapon engineered by Hollywood and Washington.

Nic hoped for a comeback performance in the much hyped and impressively cast musical Nine but ended up receiving mostly negative reviews. More troubling than her performance was her appearance at the New York opening, at which her usual cemented faux smile was smeared with a mystery mist, no doubt of dubious origin.

Most recently, Nicole popped up on the Grammy Awards red carpet, where hubby Keith was nominated for Best Country Album. The veteran actress stared down the cameras and showed off her now-trademark barely there stony smile, making us wonder: Will we turn to stone if we keep looking at pics of Nicole Kidman? Beware, everybody!
