The Hills Cast, 10 Years Later

10 years ago, Laguna Beach viewers watched Lauren Conrad  (then known affectionately as L.C.) pack her suitcases into her convertible and get on the PCH, heading straight for L.A...and her own spinoff, The Hills, which of course would go on to become a pop culture phenomenon.

The friendships. The fights. The plastic surgeries. The single black mascara tear. All these years later, fans remember it all, and MTV is paying tribute to the show with an anniversary special, with Lauren revealing secrets of the iconic series.

So what does the cast look like today? And what are they up to?

Lauren Conrad

Fans lived, breathed and obsessed over all of Lauren's dates, fights and adventures throughout her five seasons on the show, before she chose to exit the series...during Heidi and Spencer's wedding. Hey, she did say she wanted to forgive AND forget her. Since kicking the cameras out of her life, Lauren has gone on to become a New York Times best-selling author, successful fashion designer, style icon and runs a popular lifestyle website. In 2014, she married USC law student William Tell. Stephen who? (JK, still love you Stephen Colletti!)

Heidi Montag

After their stint on The Hills came to an end, with her husband calling the 2010 cancellation in 2010 their "personal 9/11," Heidi and Spencer made the reality TV rounds, appearing on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, Celebrity Big Brother in the U.K., Celebrity Wife Swap and, just last year, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. We're still not sure she knows what she did.

Audrina Patridge

While she engaged in a will-they-or-won't-they relationship with Justin Bobby throughout the show's run, Audrina gave birth to her and fiancé Corey Bohan's daughter, their first child, on June 24. No word yet if she ever did keep that helmet for when life gets tough.

Whitney Port

Known for her iconic reactions to all of Lauren's dating and friendship stories while in the Teen Vogue fashion closet, Whitney eventually went off to NYC to star in her own spinoff, The City. And while the Big Apple-set series didn't take off in quite the same way (but we are forever grateful for it for introducing us to style icon Olivia Palermo), Whitney did get a lot out of it: it's how the fashion designer met her now-husband, Tim Rosenman! "I met my husband on the show," she told E! News. "My husband was a producer on the show, so that's probably my most memorable thing that happened to me."

Kristin Cavallari

Known as the "bad girl" on Laguna Beach, Kristin was brought in as Lauren's replacement in season six, and was quick to stir up drama before the series' meta series finale. Today, Kristin is married to NFL star Jay Cutler, with whom she has three children, and wrote a book, Balancing in Heels, and designs jewelry. Her career? Far from dunzo, you could say.

Spencer Pratt

After joining in season two, Pratt quickly became one of reality TV's most iconic villains, causing the huge rift in Lauren and Heidi's friendship that would propel storylines for most of the show's run (including Spencer starting the infamous rumor about a sex tape featuring Conrad). After the show ended, the duo went on to appear on a slew of reality TV shows, . Pratt recently revealed he spent the majority of his money on crystals.

Brody Jenner

Fans always rooted for Brody and Lauren to hook up and live their happily ever after...that is before Kristin took over as the lead of the show. (Let's just forget that whole Jen Bunney funny business, yes?) Brody and Kristin's romantic tension came to a meta end, when The Hills decided to break the fourth wall, and end with a set being broken down. At the time, it was some next-level TV. These days, the reality star is engaged to Kaitlynn Carter.

Justin Bobby

Homeboy wore combat boots to the beach...in addition to wooing Audrina and Kristin. (LOL to that last one.) These days, the motorcycle-lover still cuts hair and is in an lternative punk rock band, BobbyrocK.

Lo Bosworth

Lauren's Laguna Beach BFF joined The Hills in season two, causing tension between LC and Audrina. Credited with coining the infamous "Justin Bobby" name, Lo went on to attend the International Culinary Center in New York City, and is a lifestyle and beauty blogger.

Jason Wahler

Though Lauren dumped him after he cheated on her during season two of Laguna Beach (HE. KISSED. JESSICA. AT. THE. FASHION. SHOW. But he was "Sorry"!!!), they reconciled during the first season of The Hills, leading to its finale cliffhanger: Would LC choose Jason or Paris? Well, she chose Jason...and it was a mistake. After leaving the show, Jason had numerous drinking-related arrests and spent time behind bars. Battling substance abuse, he entered rehab several times and appeared on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew. He recently co-founded a men's sober living home, Widespread Recovery, in Laguna Beach, and married Ashley Slack in 2013.

Stephanie Pratt

Spencer's sister was originally brought in as a new foe for Lauren, but she quickly befriended her instead, leading to a lot of dilemmas deciding between friend and family. These days, Stephanie is starring on the U.K. reality hit Made in Chelsea. Even though she was made in the USA. She also wrote a memoir, Made in Reality: From the Hills of L.A. to London's Made in Chelsea , in which she opened up about her struggles with bulimia and her addiction to crystal meth as a teenager.

Holly Montag

Heidi's sister had a recurring role on the show, popping up as a voice of reason/anyone aside from Spencer for Heidi to talk to. She and husband Richie Wilson welcomed a son, Isaiah Hawk Wilson, in May 2015.

Frankie Delgado

Brody's wing-man, Frankie was a constant presence on The Hills beginning in season three, especially during their nights out at Le Deux. Frankie is now married to Jennifer Acosta, and the couple has a daughter, Isabella.

Emily Weiss

She only appeared in three episodes, but Emily made quite the impression as the east coast super-intern, who quickly intimidated Lauren and Whitney. These days, Emily runs startup Glossier, a beauty brand, and the beauty blog Into the Gloss.

Kelly Cutrone

Arguably one of the scariest bosses to ever grace the small screen, PR maven Kelly replaced Teen Vogue's Lisa Love as Whitney and Lauren's employer. She went on to have her own Bravo series, Kell on Earth, and was a judge on America's Next Top Model.
