The Affair (Showtime)
When to Watch: Sunday, Nov. 20 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: Prepare for another POV to enter the mix when the show returns, as Noah's new love interest, Juliette Le Gall (played by Irene Jacob), will be added as the fifth narrative. Oh, and there will be a 3-year time-jump since the season two finale, which revealed that (spoiler alert!) Helen was the one to run Scotty over.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)
When to Watch: Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: After last season's shocking epilogue, which revealed Coulson (Clark Gregg) to be back in the field as a simple agent, partnered with Mack (Henry Simmons, seen here in an exclusive photo from the season four premiere) and hot on the trail of Quake, aka a once-again renegade Daisy (Chloe Bennet), don't expect an easy fix. Prepare yourselves for a mysterious new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. (played by Jason O'Mara) with deep connections to Marvel lore, one whose presence is tearing the team apart. And the move to a later time slot won't be the only thing heating the show up. Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna) is coming, so break out the SPF.

American Horror Story (FX)
When to Watch: Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: Who knows?! FX has kept the theme and the cast for this new season pretty much a secret on purpose. "We just thought it would really be fun to keep it a mystery, so we are," FX president John Landgraf told press at the 2016 TCA Summer Press Tour. We know Lady Gaga is back. So is Sarah Paulson. Angela Bassett is involved too. We also know there will be some jumping around in time, specifically with a portion set in the present.

Arrow (The CW)
When to Watch: Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m.
What to Expect: Meet Mayor Oliver Queen! Our hero may now be in charge of Star City, but he's "vigilante-ing more than mayor-ing," Stephen Amell told us of what's happening when season five picks up, with Oliver recruiting new members of Team Arrow. "He's not paying as much attention to the mayoral office as he should be." He's also not back with Felicity yet, if that's what you're hoping for. "We're strengthening our business relationship," Emily Bett Rickards told us, though Amell did imply that perhaps some off-screen "mistakes" were made thanks to some Russian vodka. Headcanon accepted!

The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
When to Watch: Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m.
What to Expect: Family reunions all over the place! The gang has to deal with an awkward morning after Sheldon's mom (Laurie Metcalf) and Leonard's dad (Judd Hirsch) hooked up, just as Penny's mom (Katey Sagal) and drug-dealing brother (Jack McBrayer) are arriving for Penny and Leonard's re-wedding. Something tells us this is going to be a bit of a disaster…

Black-ish (ABC)
When to Watch: Wednesday, Sept 21 at 9:30 p.m.
What to Expect: Black-ish may be heading to Disney World in its season three premiere, but that doesn't mean the show won't still deal with tough topics "That's how we started the show—trying to be as topical and as relevant as possible, so naturally it will just happen, especially given the current infrastructure and almost disintegration of our nation currently," star Yara Shahidi told E! News. "It's the world that the Johnsons live in." On a lighter note, Hamilton's Daveed Diggs will have a major arc this season as Rainbow's brother!

The Blacklist (NBC)
When to Watch: Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: In the season three finale viewers learned that Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) was behind the plan to fake Liz's (Megan Boone) death and betray Red (James Spader). Expect that to have dire consequences when the show returns, because betrayal does not sit well with Red. Will the fact that Mr. Kaplan has been a trusted colleague for years mean anything to Red? We're told with all the puzzle pieces up in the air—a missing Liz separated from her child, Tom in the wind and the team emotionally fractured—Red's handling of Mr. Kaplan will be the most challenging of them all.

Blindspot (NBC)
When to Watch: Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: A certain Emmy winner and her boots make a splashy debut. Yes, Archie Panjabi of The Good Wife will recur as the head of a secret division in the NSA that has been watching Jane (Jaimie Alexander) from afar. Michelle Hurd and Luke Mitchell will also appear in the new season with the first episode of season two helmed and written by show runner Martin Gero. Rich Dotcom will return in episode seven and possibly more, Gero told press at TCA. Oh yeah, we'll also find Jane's real first name, what Orion is, who Shepherd is and who Jane really is. "If the first season was about who is Jane Doe, we want to answer those questions so we can move into what the second season is about, which I can't really tell you because it is a spoiler if I say what the theme is," Gero teased.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox)
When to Watch: Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m.
What to Expect: As if that upcoming crossover with New Girl weren't enough, season four of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is practically overflowing with guest stars, even just in the premiere. Maya Rudolph and Rhea Perlman will both appear, along with Andy Samberg's fellow Lonely Islander Jorma Taccone. Things pick right back up with Jake and Holt in Florida, living it up in the Witness Protection Program, but it sounds like a viral video may be the thing that ruins everything (because of course).

Chicago Fire (NBC)
When to Watch: Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: Although Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Casey (Jesse Spencer) went through some rocky times last season, they reunited—and are now foster parents to a young boy. Their relationship in season five will have a much different dynamic now that they're raising a child—though Spencer told us he thinks Casey is totally ready to be a dad. There will also be some romance (Brett will start seeing Chicago P.D.'s Antonio Dawson) and some bromance (Severide will make a new, Instagram-famous friend while out on a call and join his inner circle).

Chicago Med (NBC)
When to Watch: Thursday, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m.
What to Expect: When we head back for season two of Med, April will be dealing with the fallout from her TB diagnosis. Reese is now working as a barista and Dr. Choi is chief resident. Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) has a new mentor, played by Ato Essandoh, and a new love interest, played by Mekia Cox, who just so happens to be Dr. Charles' daughter. Speaking of Rhodes, he and frenemy Halstead will be in a good place. "We've put some things behind us," Donnell teased. "I'm sure that the relationship will grow and fall apart and then grow and then fall apart and then grow. It wouldn't be fun if we weren't butting heads a little bit."

Chicago P.D. (NBC)
When to Watch: Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: First things first: Will Lindsay (Sophia Bush) get in trouble for the actions of her mentor, Voight (who went all vigilante and killed the man who murdered his son), who told her to flee the scene so she wouldn't be a witness to the crime? Lindsay will also face a major milestone in her relationship with Halstead: moving in together, of which Voight may or may not approve.

Code Black (CBS)
When to Watch: Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: Some new faces! Daddy and Mama (Marcia Gay Harden and Luis Guzman, respectively) welcome Col. Ethan Willis (Rob Lowe), who has been embedded at the hospital to teach techniques learned in combat. "Angels Memorial also begins a new education cycle with three new interns, as last season's characters enter the second year of their residency," creator Michael Seitzman told E! News. "The show will leave the hospital setting more for cases like a shark attack, a collapse at a spooky Halloween attraction, and even [a] Russian submarine. But count on the same breathless Code Black medicine, and the show's patented emotional depth charges that explode in tears every week."

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (The CW)
When to Watch: Friday, Oct. 21 at 9 p.m.
What to Expect: Season one of the breakout hit ended with Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) getting what she really wanted: Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III). Oh yeah, after they had sex, she then admitted to him that she did move to West Covina just for him. Oops. "Rebecca is still not a virgin and it's an interesting sexual season," Bloom told E! News at the CBS/Showtime/CW TCA party. "In some ways the season is everything we've wanted to do with the show because now Rebecca is more open about why she's in West Covina and what she wants out of life. She's a little closer on the road to finding happiness, which may or may not include Josh Chan." The new season will also feature a take on "Lemonade" (yes, that's right!) and guest star Brittany Snow.

Criminal Minds (CBS)
When to Watch: Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m.
What to Expect: The BAU team is going to look a lot different, as Thomas Gibson was fired from the series after an on-set altercation with a writer. No word yet on how Hotch will exit, but joining the team is Magic Mike star Adam Rodriguez. Plus, Aisha Tyler has been upped to series regular along with returning cast member Paget Brewster.

Elementary (CBS)
When to Watch: Sunday, Oct. 2 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: The return of some old friends, but new faces to the CBS drama. New series regular and True Blood alum Nelsan Ellis will make his debut in the premiere as Shinwell Johnson, an original Arthur Conan Doyle character and an old acquaintance of Joan's who will help solve a murder. Then, Owain Yeoman (The Mentalist) will play an old boarding school classmate of Sherlock's who shows up in the series' 100th episode to—you guessed it!—help solve a murder.

Empire (Fox)
When to Watch: Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 9 p.m.
What to Expect: We'll get resolution to that cliffhanger very quickly into the season three premiere—like, five seconds in, according to EP Sanaa Hamri. In fact, EP Ilene Chaiken says the question of who falls from the balcony "gets answered in a fabulous and heart-stopping way." But we'll leave you with this head-scratcher from star Taraji P. Henson, teasing the possibility of both Rhonda and Anika sticking around on the show: "We all die. We all die, and then we are resurrected."

Fear the Walking Dead (AMC)
When to Watch: Sundays at 9 p.m.
What to Expect: Relationships are changing...or at least they will be once everyone escapes that hotel of death. The rest of the season will find Alicia and her mom figuring out if they can come together and be more like allies, and Nick will be learning to thrive in his new community, with a new role that will put his old skills to the test.

The Flash (The CW)
When to Watch: Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m.
What to Expect: In the season two finale, Barry completely changed the timeline—meaning everyone is living an alternate version of their lives. When we catch up with everyone in "Flashpoint," Cisco's a tech billionaire, Barry's a regular crime scene tech, and there's a new Flash in town: Kid Flash, a.k.a. Wally West. "What's awesome is to see another good speedster. He's like this younger version of Barry," EP Todd Helbing told us. "While Barry was this dorky guy and insecure in a lot of ways, Wally's not like that. He was racing cars, he was taking care of himself, he was the man of the house, and so you put that attitude in a superhero and it's awesome."

Fresh Off the Boat (ABC)
When to Watch: Thursday, Oct. 11 at 9 p.m.
What to Expect: Another fish out of water tale, but in this time in Taiwan. Yep, the third season premiere was filmed on location after season two ended with Louis (Randall Park) declaring he was going to set things right with his brother. The boys have never been out of the country. Expect some culture shock.

Gotham (Fox)
When to Watch: Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m.
What to Expect: She's back! After her surprising resurrection at the end of season two, Jada Pinkett Smith's Fish Mooney is ready to take control of Gotham City with her army of Indian Hill test subjects—including one who looks suspiciously like our future Caped Crusader—and if this first look photo, exclusive to E! News, is any indication, she means business. As Gotham City's rogues gallery grows in the third season, look out for the arrival of Jervis Tetch, also known as the Mad Hatter (Benedict Wong), an aged-up Poison Ivy (now played by Maggie Geha), and the Tweed Brothers. New bounty hunter Jim Gordon's (Ben McKenzie) going to have his hands full.

Grey's Anatomy (ABC)
When to Watch: Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
What to Expect: When season 13 (!) of our favorite medical drama premieres, look forward to a renewed focus on the show's remaining original characters. After all, if they've survived a baker's dozen of seasons, they sort of deserve it, wouldn't you say? Expect the show to dive right back into the fallout from Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) surprising hook-up with Riggs (Martin Henderson), aka the object of half-sister Maggie's (Kelly McCreary) affection. And don't think Alex (Justin Chambers) will be off the hook for the brutal beating he delivered to DeLuca (Giacomo Giannotti) in the final moments in season 12. Think legal problems.

How to Get Away With Murder (ABC)
When to Watch: Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m.
What to Expect: It's the second year of law school for the Keating 5, and when the season begins they're actually—gasp!—going to class. They'll try to move past all the drama in their lives, but (spoiler alert!) it won't last very long. Creator Pete Nowalk told us that while there's no overarching case this season, it'll still feel like the HTGAWM we know and love with flashbacks, sex and—yes—murder galore.
