Many people believed it was the outcome of heartbreak in dealing with Daniel's death.
Simon Monjack and Brittany Murphy
The British screenwriter was found dead at the home he shared with his wife, just five months after she died. The Coroner later reported Monjack had been suffering from acute pneumonia and severe anemia—the same illnesses that killed Murphy.
