These Alaskan natives made their Olympic debut in cross-country skiing this year. The eldest brother, Reese, said it was an honor to join the Olympic team, adding, "To have made the team alongside my brother Logan, is an almost unimaginable dream."

Alaska is the place to be for any aspiring cross-country skiers. The Pattersons join the Hannemans and Bjornsens, who also hail from the snowy state, in the quest for gold for Team USA.

According to these twins, their shared genes and chemistry give them an extra edge on the ice. The ice hockey players told NBC, "It's just that thing when we're on the ice together, we have that undeniable chemistry."

These two were the first brother-sister cross-country skiers to make Team USA and they are poised to make it to the podium when they compete on February 13.

Being related seems to come with more than its fair share of advantages, especially with these two curlers. The brother and sister credit their relationship for the honesty that allows them to grow as athletes, but Becca admitted, "We have a great relationship but it definitely tests my patience a little bit."
Bryan and Taylor Fletcher
These brothers have overcome their fair share of trials, including the Olympic ones. Bryan is a cancer survivor who found his way onto the Olympic Nordic Team for USA, with his brother Taylor alongside him the whole way.
