As a testament to the international appeal of British film and television, actors from both sides of the Atlantic gathered at the Beverly Hills Hotel Jan. 12 for the 14th Annual BAFTA/Los Angeles Awards Season Tea Party.

Among the guests was McAvoy, celebrated star of Atonement and winner of the BAFTA 2006 trophy for Rising Star. Good call.
