The big day
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino arrives at court in Newark, N.J. with his wife Lauren Sorrentino (then Lauren Pesce) for his sentencing. He was sentenced to eight months in prison, which he is serving at the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, N.Y.
"We are very happy to put this behind us," he wrote on Instagram. "Thank you So much for all the Love & Support."

This is an outside look at FCI Otisville, whose inmates include Billy McFarland and Michael Cohen. Mike surrendered himself on Jan. 15 to begin his 8-month sentence.
Fighting Fyre
Vinny Guadagnino and DJ Pauly D revealed to Jenny McCarthy on The Jenny McCarthy Show in April that The Situation has some pretty famous fellow inmates, including Fyre Festival's Billy McFarland. Other than McFarland, Sorrentino has become pals with "the guy that leaked Jennifer Lawrence's nudes and hacked her phone." According to Vinny and Pauly, they "play Scrabble together."
Love lasts
The Jersey Shore star smiles next to his wife while wearing his prison suit. "Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do," he captioned the picture on Instagram. She apparently visits him about once a week.
A visit from friends
Vinny Guadagnino and DJ Pauly D visit their friend in May. Vinny and Pauly D shared some details in April with Jenny McCarthy about how Mike was handling everything. Clue: he's just fine.
The pals told McCarthy that the three of them "talk every day" and that he's "doing so good" in prison. The Double Shot at Love stars added that Mike "is in such good spirits."
Vinny shared, "He sends me such positive vibes. He gets me through my day."
