Lana Condor
No offense to all the holidays she's loved before, but Thanksgiving has the actress' heart. "It's my mom's favorite as well!" Condor revealed to E! News. The highlight, of course, is a well-cooked bird and all the fixings, continued the star, in the midst of planning her wedding to longtime love Anthony De La Torre: "We all get together and I cook an eight-course Thanksgiving meal—I become Thanksgiving-zilla in the kitchen!"
Jeannie Mai Jenkins
Peaches are sweet, but The Real alum has other plans for the menu at her Georgia holiday. "Me and Jeezy are going to host Christmas at our house again in Atlanta," the mom to 10-month-old Monaco told E! News. "I like to say I bring a little bit of the bay to the A because I bring all the Asian food up in the A that I don't think they were ready for." With "Mama Mai" and her dad both on the guest list, noted the stylist, "We do it big."
Ayesha Curry
Naturally, The Full Plate author runs point in the kitchen when it comes to serving up holiday meals. And this season she's looking to start some new traditions. "I'm switching it up this year, actually," she confessed to E! News at the Baby2Baby Gala. "I'm going to do a completely sustainable and ethically sourced Thanksgiving, which is, like, who am I? But I'm trying. So that's going to be the new thing."
Violetta Komyshan
'Tis the season for showing off her graceful side. "I love ice skating," the ballet dancer told E! News, noting that she commits to at least one outing every winter. Also on the menu: "Making more dinners and baking a ton," she shared of recreating the recipes from Bon Appétit and The New York Times. "I'm obsessed with cooking, so looking forward to doing that around this time of year."
Erin & Ben Napier
This time of year, the Home Town stars put down the tools and pick up some spatulas. "Most of our traditions surround food," Ben admitted to E! News. On the menu, added his wife, mom to their kids Helen, 4, and Mae, 18 months, "There's pancake day that's comin'. That's going to be a big one."
Tyler Cameron
The good times roll when The Bachelorette alum celebrates holidays with his family. "My mother loved playing Left Center Right," he said of the dice game. "We would play after dinner during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other big holiday get-togethers. We would all put our dollar bills together and play Left Center Right." And though his mom Andrea Cameron passed in 2020, the fun lives on—at least for one of the reality star's relatives. "My grandma always won," he lamented to E! News while discussing his Amazon gift picks. "Or a newcomer somehow found a way to win. But you know who doesn't win? Me."
David Burtka
Anyone familiar with Burtka and husband Neil Patrick Harris' legen-wait-for-it-dary Halloween costumes knows that they like to scare up a good time with their 12-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon. "Every single holiday is a big holiday, whether it's birthdays, Fourth of July, we do it up," Burtka explained to E! News while talking about his partnership with Arm & Hammer Plus OxiClean Laundry Detergent. And every Christmas they have an extra sweet time hosting a sugar cookie party. "I have all my friends come in and the kids decorate the cookies," noted the Celebrity Dish host, who keeps sugar cookie dough and "every single cookie cutter shape for every single holiday" on hand. "And when they go to bed, we make them better. We jazz them up and make them look a little more presentable."
Maddie Font & Tae Kerr
The holidays spark creativity for the country music duo. "We'll probably do our Christmas craft," Font told E! News. With a side of cabernet or pinot. Said Font, "Wine night, Christmas crafts, cookies, all that good stuff."
Kelsey & Spencer Grammer
A holly jolly Christmas is pretty much guaranteed thanks to the father-daughter duo's go-to holiday activity. "Our main tradition is karaoke," Spencer told E! News while promoting their Lifetime holiday flick The 12 Days of Christmas Eve. While the Frasier alum sticks to seasonal favorites—"I do sing 'White Christmas' always. And then there's 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'"—all his daughter really wants is a bit of Alanis Morissette. "I sing 'You Oughta Know' pretty much every time," she admitted. "It's that feminist '90s music."
Tracy Morgan
Youngest daughter Maven Sonae is dreaming of a white Christmas. After the Spirited actor transformed the lower level of their New Jersey home into a haunted mansion for Halloween, the 9-year-old began making plans for December. As the 30 Rock alum told E! News, "We are going to turn the basement into a winter wonderland!"
Tamera Mowry-Housley
Each year, the actress strives for a picture-perfect season. Literally. "We always do a holiday card," the You Should Sit Down For This author told E! News of the tradition that started after son Aden's 2012 arrival. "I like to think of the theme," noted the actress, who's also in charge of wardrobe for herself, husband Adam Housley, Aden and their 7-year-old daughter Ariah. Admittedly, it was easier when her kids were younger ("They really have opinions now!"), but she's aiming high: "I think this year is going to be black tie. So we're going to be really dressed up."
Crystal Kung Minkoff
Thanksgiving in the Kung-Minkoff household has a strong Asian fusion vibe, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared with E! News at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital Party On The Pier. "It's my entire extended family," she described. "It's, like, 50 Chinese people and all the grandmas and aunts bring Chinese food, but the younger generation like us, we always have to have our American turkey." The result, continued the consummate host, is "a smorgasbord of Asian food and a turkey. It's great. It's really fun."
