In Honor of Don Cornelius

The Soul Train steams ahead with a performance by Emotions in 1977.

Soul Train was created in 1971 by Don Cornelius. He changed television, music and the African American culture. In 1987 the Soul Train Awards began and have been a stage for some of the most famous names in music history.
