Scarlett Johansson's Don Jon Accent
Another trailer has been released for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut, Don Jon, and we just cannot with Scarlett Johansson's hoity-toity Jersey girl accent. It's amazing. But we do have so many questions: Like, why wasn't ScarJo in every scene of every season of The Sopranos? Why isn't she using this same accent for Her, a movie where she voices a Siri-esque computer program? And why can't we program our Siri to have this accent? Please, Apple? Make it happen?

The Japanese Chihuahua has more swag in his left paw than Grumpy Cat, Mally the Monkey and Keyboard Cat and whatever other viral pet you like combined. Lady Gaga's Grand Return to Twitter
Maybe she never left Twitter, at least not officially, but now that she has an album to pimp (ARTPOP), Gaga is back and tweeting like crazy: Teasing her fans ("i am listening to the album"), taunting Russia ("Why didn't you arrest me when you had the chance, Russia? Because you didn't want answer to the world?") and posting weird pictures with a prosthetic arm ("THIS IS THAT ARM"). Oh Gaga!
The O.C.'s 10-Year Anniversary
"California...Caliiiffffoooorrrnnniiiaaa, here we coooooooooome." If the theme song to the long-running Fox series is still stuck in your head a decade later, we don't blame you. And it's exactly why we were so happy to revisit Seth, Ryan, Sandy, Summer and everyone else in our favorite SoCal suburb this week, to mark the 10-year anniversary of the show, which premiered Aug. 5, 2003. And it's a perfect opportunity for people that never got into the series to finally do so. Welcome to the O.C., bitch.
Orphan Black Withdrawals
Members of the Clone Club, we need to lean on each other now more than ever. Because season two of the BBC America hit, about a woman who learns she's actually a clone, isn't premiering until April of 2014. That means no new episodes for over eight months. We already rewatched all 10 episodes of the first season this summer, so what are we supposed to do now?!

Amanda Seyfried is no stranger to the Oscars—she even performed on stage last year when Les Misérables was nominated for basically...everything. But could Lovelace, the controversial biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace, finally draw the Academy's eye to Amanda's acting? They tend to honor brave, transformative performances and this one is just that. We hardly recognized her. And we mean that in a good way.
Orange Is The New Black Book Club
While the cast and crew is hard at work on a second season of our new favorite show, a new Tumblr appropriately titled "Books of OITNB" created a list of all the books read on the show. Book club, anyone?! There's something for everyone, no matter if you're a Pipe (Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn), an Alex (The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls) or a Taystee (Fifty Shades of Grey, naturally). Or maybe you just want to get your Shakespeare on like Crazy Eyes.

This one doesn't take much explanation: The Internet loves Shark Week, Discovery's week-long celebration off all thinks shark. The Internet loves cats. The Internet loves Shark Cat, a cat in a shark costume who rides a Roomba. The adventure started last year when Shark Cat used his Roomba to chase a duckling, but this year, for Shark Week, he's just cleaning the kitchen. YouTube tested, SkyMall approved.
The Civil Wars, by The Civil Wars
Their name proved to be a forewarning: The Civil Wars, who sprung to fame after collaborating with Taylor Swift on The Hunger Games soundtrack, have waged a war within their band ("We haven't been on speaking terms," Joy Williams says of bandmate John Paul White). And so their second album, the self-title The Civil Wars, will likely be their last. But all 12 tracks on the folksy Grammy-winners' new album are heartbreakingly perfect.
Archie's Big Gay Kiss
Things are getting steamy over in Riverdale. And no, we're not talking about the kiss between Kevin and his boyfriend featured in the Aug. 7 issue. We're talking about the smoke billowing out of the ears of the angry mom who witnesses—and vocally disapproves of—the kiss. A mom inspired by none other then...One Million Moms! After the organization tried to get Toys R Us to boycott another Archie issue that featured a gay wedding, the Archie writers decided to have a little fun to get back at ‘em.
Please Like Me
Are you anxiously awaiting new episodes of Girls? Then try this series out for size. The Aussie comedy has drawn comparisons to the HBO hit, if only because 26-year-old Josh Thomas is the creator, writer and star (Lena Dunham, anyone?). But Taylor doesn't mind the comparisons, telling EW, "Girls is a good show, right? Girls won awards and things, right? I'm fine with that." The first episode is available on YouTube.
Tara Reid Explains Shark Sex
That blond girl from American Pie that was in Sharknado? Tara something? She was on Shark After Dark, a late night addition to Discovery Channel's Shark Week, to discuss sharks. We think. "Today, I was like, all right, I don't wanna, like, sound stupid when I do this show today. I look up sharks on the Internet and I see Whale Sharks," she rambles. "I'm like, ‘That must mean a whale and a shark have sex?' And then I think, How does a whale and a shark have sex?" From there, it's all downhill.
Gone Girl Fan Casting
Or should we say re-casting. Reports recently fingered Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike for the leads of the movie, with Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry in negotiations for additional roles. And every fan had an opinion: Affleck is all wrong for Nick! Who is Rosamund Pike?! It should have been: Jake Gyllenhaal! Emily Blunt! Mark Ruffalo! Charlize Blunt! Etc. And no Tyler Perry!
Drinking Buddies
Let's start with the cast: New Girl's Jake Johnson, Olivia Wilde, Anna Kendrick and Ron Livingston. Not too shabby. Not shabby at all. The film follows the interweaving love lives of the two couples (Johnson and Kendrick, Wilde and Livingston) and it's impossible not to get emotionally invested in the messy fallout. Plus, we'd watch Johnson in anything.

One Star Yelp Reviews of Strip Clubs
"As a part-time strip club connoisseur I was extremely disappointed by my entire experience." So begins one entry on this gem of a Tumblr, which, as the title promises, is made of one star Yelp reviews for strip clubs. The reviews complain about the dancers ("There were only 5 dancers there and only one of them was DECENT"), the other clientele ("all bikers when I was there (not bicyclers)") and everything in-between.
Zac Posen on Project Runway
We miss Michael Kors bantering with Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia during runway shows, but we have to admit: We're thrilled that Posen is back for another season of the Lifetime series (plus, Kors will be back as a guest judge, so no hard feelings). Let us count the ways: He's adorable. He is fabulous at delivering a compliment...and even more fabulous at a bitchy critique. And did we mention he's adorable?
News Reporter Fail: Penis Edition!
This clip doesn't take much setup: While discussing a construction zone and the resulting traffic, a Michigan newscaster, Siobhan Riley of ABC affiliate WJRT-TV, accidentally drew a penis. She will now live in infamy among the YouTube annals of other on-air news fails. What an honor! Maybe it was just a visual metaphor though: Traffic really can be a d--k. Watch now.

A Sundance standout, the documentary dives into the issue of killer whales kept in captivity at SeaWorld by following Tilikum, an orca connected to the deaths of three trainers (including Dawn Brancheau in 2010). Director Gabriela Cowperthwaite interviews former trainers and marine experts and creates a captivating film about animal rights, one that will definitely make you think twice about attending the Shamu show again.
30 Minute Musical's Jurassic Park in 4D
There's a lot to do at Comic-Con: Big studio panels in Hall H, autograph signings on the convention center floor, people watching (definitely people watching) but our 2013 Con standout is a little musical about dinosaurs. 30 Minute Musicals adapts the Spielberg classic into a hilarious song-and-dance extravaganza. And, yes, the T-rex has a solo.
