Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Premiere

Before he was R.Pattz he was just Rob Pattinson. The actor appeared as Cedric Diggory but ditched the Hogwarts student's feathered locks for this lion's mane at the July 8, 2007 premiere. Which inspired its name: The Aslan.

Twilight

In 2008, the vampire boyfriend beloved by millions of teen girls (and their moms!) was cast, causing a controversial uproar. But when Rob's immortally messy bronze hair was revealed, all was well. This 'do? The O.G. Eddie Cullen.

MTV's Spoilers Event

While fans were clamoring for a sneak peek at their fave supernatural romance, they got a different spoiler: Robert Pattinson has some seriously crazy hair. Which, in his early years, often went untamed. This look: The Tumbleweed.

Twilight Los Angeles Premiere

Not that it necessarily got better when he did attempt to tame his mane (with what surely was an industrial size bottle of gel). Such was the case with his 'do on his first Twilight carpet, the 2008 Los Angeles premiere. AKA The Oil Spill.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

Edward Cullen returned in 2009 for the highly anticipated follow-up and so did his by-then infamously perfect (and once again bronzed) hair. Cue millions of comforted sighs. Which is why we've named this look The Homecoming.

Dossier Magazine

Rob has graced the cover of thousands upon thousands of magazines. But in 2009, he was apparently still following the old hair styling adage, "The higher the hair, the closer to god." So this 'do we've dubbed The Texan Trophy Wife.

Le Grand Journal

Promo for the second Twilight movie took the cast around the world, including this pit stop Pattinson made in France. This hair 'do seemed to want to be styled as high as physicaly possible, so we're referring to it as The 2009 Bouffant.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

With each installment, our favorite Cullen's 'do became a little more refined. So by the time the third film rolled into theaters, his bronze locks were shorter and styled more subtly. Which is why this classic look is simply The Edward.

2011 Comic-Con

When Rob arrived in San Diego for the Twilight gang's usual tour-de-Con, there were fewer jaws on the floor and more eyebrows raised when he debuts his half-buzzed head (for Cosmopolis). Our reaction? The look's name: The WTF.

LAX

Paparazzi caught Rob in quite the hairy situation during a trip to the airport: Not only was his hair fully grown in again, but he was accompanying it with an enormous beard! The nearly incognito look inspired the name The Hottie Hobo.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 Premiere

Rob arrived at the Los Angeles premiere of the second-to-last Twilight flick sporting a flash maroon jacket that was perfectly complimented by locks with a slightly redder hue. While not full on rouge, we dub this one The Ginger Snap.

2012 People's Choice Awards

R.Pattz may not have taken home the award for Favorite Movie Actor, but he did use the night to show off his freshly buzzed head. Luckily, ditching his signature perfect locks didn't trigger the end of the world. We say it's The Cue Ball.

2012 Comic-Con

No signs of impending trouble here—not in Rob's demeanor during the convention or in his hair, what with every hair perfectly in place. A pre-epic moment deserving of a long name such as The Well Groomed Calm Before The Storm.

New York Stock Exchange

Following the K.Stew cheating scandal, Rob went off the grid. But he returned to the scene with his hair slicked back and looked better than ever as he rang the opening bell. So we're just calling this one what it is: The Best Revenge.

ELLE's 19th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

As things returned to normal in R.Pattz's personal life (Robsten reunited!), he returned to his usual red carpet look: Tousled hair and facial scruff. Robsten was unbroken and so was his streak of rocking this look. So...The Regular.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere

And, not surprising, it seems to be a look that Rob will stick to (with slight variations in the amount of facial grooming, hair product amounts, etc.) throughout the final Twilight press tour. But who knows, maybe he'll shock us with The ???

Now see how Kristen Stewart's fashion has evolved over the years!
