Trista Sutter, Season One
One of the only marriages that have actually materialized from The Bachelor franchise happened the very first time ABC gambled by switching it up with The Bachelorette. Memorable first bachelorette Trista Rehn married Ryan Sutter in 2003 after he proved to be the only man for her. They are still going strong nearly a decade later with two children, Maxwell and Blakesley. At least one couple got a happy ending!
Meredeith Phillips, Season Two
Meredith Phillips, who was third runner-up on Bob Guiney's season of The Bachelor, got a second chance at love with The Bachelorette. Unfortunately, her engagement Ian Mckee did not survive, and they split soon after the show ended. These days she pursues her passion for cooking with her very own book, which you can find by the very apropos title: The Date Night Cookbook. She met her boyfriend on the first night of culinary school, and they've been inseparable since. Looks like it's getting hot in the kitchen!
Jen Schefft, Season Three
Known for winning the heart of the third season bachelor, Firestone Tire heir Andrew Firestone, Jen Schefft moved on from their broken engagement by appearing on season three. She then duped us all as The Bachelorette by deciding on neither finalist! Jen ended up finding her man in the Windy City, where she married trader Joe Waterman. The couple now has two daughters.
DeAnna Marie Pappas, Season Four
DeAnna Marie Pappas is now DeAnna Marie Stagliano. She was once engaged to finalist Jesse Csincsak, but their relationship fizzled. DeAnna then married Stephen Stigliano, whose twin brother Michael Stigliano was on the fifth season of The Bachelorette, as well as The Bachelor Pad. Clearly their family is an intricate web of love!
Jillian Harris, Season Five
Canadian bachelorette Jillian Harris ended up choosing Ed Swiderski, but when the cameras turned off, Ed didn't seem so faithful. Due to Ed's wandering eyes and infidelities, their relationship ended in 2010. Jillian went on stronger than before, throwing herself into her interior design career. These days she's the host of W Network's Love it or List It in Vancouver and frequently appeared on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Ali Fedotowsky, Season Six
All-American girl Ali Fedotowsky was best known for leaving bachelor Jake Pavelka's season and choosing her career over love. Turn's out, Ali had a change of heart when she came back to be The Bachelorette and got engaged to Roberto Martinez at the end of the show. In 2011 Ali and Roberto split, but she went back to focusing on the thing she does best… her career. She moved to San Diego, California and became a Fox news correspondent. Currently Ali is the TV host of NBC's weekly travel show, 1st Look and she is E! Online's own Bachelor blogger!
Ashley Hebert, Season Seven
Ashley Hebert was one of the few Bachelorettes who actually got her fairy-tale ending. Beating The Bachelor odds, Ashley married finalist J.P. Rosenbaum on December 1, 2012. And the wedding was held no place else than on our TV's! This happy couple is still going strong.
Emily Maynard, Season Eight
Blonde beauty Emily Maynard might be the only girl in the world right now who can say she rejected current Bachelor heartthrob, Sean Lowe! Maybe she should have rethought her decision because her final choice didn't turn out so well. Ending in yet another canceled engagement, Emily chose Jef Holm, a relationship which ended in heartbreak. Maybe she can give Sean a call if his choice doens't pan out?
