The Great Gatsby

Period costume fans, music fans, Leonardo DiCaprio fans alike: This is the one you've been waiting for. This Baz Luhrmann tale inspired by Fitzgerald's book follows would-be writer Nick Carraway as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York in 1922, where questionable morals, jazz and bootlegging rule. There, he encounters the millionaire Jay Gatsby and high drama ensues. Look for tunes from Beyoncé, Lana Del Rey and Florence + the Machine on the soundtrack, which comes from its executive producer Jay-Z. May 10
