Blake Lively's Tri-Ponytail

To recreate Blake's Met Gala 'do, divide hair into three sections, going down your head (top, middle and bottom). Smooth the top section into a ponytail and loop ends through to create a second one and repeat until you have three connected ponytails.

Nicole Kidman's Faux Hawk Ponytail

Nicole's edgy 2013 Cannes Film Festival hairstyle is part faux hawk, part ponytail. To try the look, separate a top section of hair and set to the side. Take the remaining hair and pull into a ponytail in between the crown and the nape of the neck. Now, take the top section, tease the roots for added volume and smooth the section backwards over the ponytail. Secure both sections together at the nape of neck with a small elastic.

Fergie's high ponytail is ideal for gals with extra long locks. Flip hair over head and gather all tresses into a high ponytail. After you secure with an elastic, tug strands in the tail forward and to the side so they fall in front of your ears. Add small barrette at the base of the ponytail.

Kate Beckinsale's Ponytail with Front Pouf

If a faux hawk is too extreme, try a small front pouf like Kate. Use a large barrel curling iron to create loose, beachy waves.Separate a two inch section of hair near the top of your forehead. Tease roots and place to the side.  Gather remaining hair into a ponytail and secure at crown. Finish by gently smoothing small front section over ponytail, and secure in place with bobby pins. Be sure to tease ends together so they create one tail.
