Ariana Debose

We don't know much yet about the 18-year-old contemporary dancer from Wake Forest, N.C., except that she apparently enjoys scrapbooking.

Eliminated: Top 20 week

Ashleigh Di Lello

The 26-year-old ballroom dancer just squeaked through the finals and will be competing with/against her hubby, Ryan.

Bianca Revels

Third's time's a charm for the 20-year-old Detroit native, who made it to the top 20 after auditioning for three seasons. Bianca joins Peter Sabasino and Phillip Attmore as the first tap dancers selected to compete in SYTYCD.

Eliminated: Top 18 week

Billy Bell

Isn't it wonderful to hear Cat Deeley say his name? Besides being simply adorable, the 19-year-old Juilliard student survived both a bloody elbowing and an Adam Shankman sobfest during auditions.

UPDATE: Billy left the competition due to illness and was replaced by Bay Area hip-hop dancer Brandon Dumlao, 21.

Brandon Dumlao

Brandon subbed in for Billy Bell at the last minute after Bell became ill and dropped out just before the beginning of the Top 20 competition.

Eliminated: Top 20 week

Channing Cooke

Massachusetts' most famous ice cream scooper/contemporary dancer just turned 18—the minimum age requirement to compete on SYTYCD—and made it to the Top 20 with a unanimous vote by the judges.

Another first in SYTYCD: a locking ballerina—i.e., a "lockerina," as the 19-year-old contemporary dancer refers to her unique style.

Eliminated: Finals, fourth place

Jakob Karr

Will the 19-year-old contemporary dancer's friendship with season-five champ Jeanine Mason give him an edge over his competitors?

Eliminated: Finals, second place

Karen Hauer

The 27-year-old Venezuelan beat out fellow ballroom dancer Ashleigh Di Lello for the final spot in the Top 20—but Paula Van Oppen's exit ultimately made room for both.

Eliminated: Top 12 week

Kathryn McCormick

The emotional 19-year-old Georgia transplant has a high-pitched squeaky voice when she cries. And she cried a lot during the auditions. Maybe the Top 20 will teach her to shut up and dance?

Eliminated: Finals, third place

Kevin Hunte

The judges love the 23-year-old Boston hip-hopper's "brilliant" technique. And we love K'Bez's cute cornrows.

Jonathan "Legacy" Perez

The soft-spoken 28-year-old B-boy didn't start dancing until he was 15 and has no formal training. Even though Mia Michaels described his talent as "stupid" (aka awesome), none of his audition performances were stellar. Who knows? Maybe his signature "backhanded little sort of duckwalk" (per Nigel) will find its way into a cha-cha.

Eliminated: Top eight week

Mollee Gray

The bubbly 18-year-old will have to overcome her "childish" behavior dancing to move forward in the competition. And this bestie business with Noelle has got to stop.

Eliminated: Top eight week

Nathan Trasoras

The 18-year-old SoCal contemporary dancer had a headstart over his competitors: Too young to compete but impressing judges during last season's auditions, Nigel gave him an advance ticket to Vegas tryouts.

Eliminated: Top 10 week

Mollee's 18-year-old BFF also made it to the finals. Whew! Not sure their friendship could have survived otherwise.

Eliminated: Top 10 week

Pauline Mata

Spraining her ankle during auditions didn't stop the 19-year-old jazz specialist from dancing her way into the Top 20.

Eliminated: Top 16 week

Peter Sabasino

Anyone else think the 22-year-old tap dancer is a doppelgänger for last season's Tony Bellissimo? As one of three tappers, Peter will need to show greater range to make it further than his week-one-ousted season-five look-alike.

Eliminated: Top 16 week

Phillip Attmore

The composed 25-year-old, one of this season's trio of tap dancers, was also a roommate of always-a-bridesmaid Ryan Kasprzak (Evan's bro) in a production of the musical Fosse.

Eliminated: Top 18 week

Introducing your first SYTYCD krumper! But watch out: The versatile 20-year-old Boston native will make history for much more than this.

Eliminated: Winner, season six

Ryan Di Lello

The 28-year-old ballroom dancer and judges'/our darling was selected well before his wife, Ashleigh—and we have a feeling she'll be riding the caboose of her hunky hubby's hot-tamale train.

Eliminated: Finals, sixth place

Victor Smalley

The judges were pleased when the 21-year-old Miami contemporary dancer shaved his "distracting" mohawk, but we kinda miss his startling resemblance to Glee's Puck.

Eliminated: Top 12 week
