Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) returns to Oahu to investigate his father's murder (nooo!) and stays to head up a new 5-0 team. He's joined by a new Danno (Scott Caan) and Kim, an ex-detective wrongly accused of corruption (see: The Cape). Grace Park is the beautiful rookie and island native (i.e., lots of bikinis?).

OK, it's really The Whole Truth, and instead of cops vs. lawyers, Jerry Bruckheimer's legal drama gives equal time to the prosecution and defense attorneys' work on the same cases. Joely Richardson and former Numb3rs star Rob Morrow head the cast.
