Angelina Jolie

Whoever said, "The more things change, the more they stay the same," never  spent much time around Hollywood actresses. For them, reinvention is de riguer. Just take a look at some of these ch-ch-ch-changes.

First up, Angelina Jolie. At the 2000 Oscars, she was fully into her black on black Morticia Adams look, touting that Billy Bob Thornton blood vial, kissing her brother on the lips, all that shocking stuff. Today, she's Mrs. Brad Pitt, international movie star, mother of a gazillion kids and has glammed up her look considerably.

We find both pretty intriguing.

Britney Spears

Hard to believe it was only 1999 when Brit released her debut album. Worldwide stardom, endless paparazzi stalkings, a full-on shaved-head-meltdown and a full-on return to stardom later, and darned if the pop princess doesn't look much worse for the wear and tear. Nice going, Britney!

Sarah Jessica Parker

In this shot from somewhere in the 1980s, Sarah looks like Strawberry Shortcake relocated to Little House on the Prairie. We're glad she packed away the Easter bonnet and gramma's doilies and moved on to become one of the fashion world's true style mavens.

Christina Aguilera

Back in 2000 when Xtina nabbed her best new artist Grammy, she seemed to be borrowing a reverse-action page from the playbook of Angelina Jolie, decking herself out like a blonde version of the funereal Mrs. Adams. A decade (and a million looks) later, she's softened the overall affect—for now, anyway. But give her 15 minutes; this chameleon always keeps us guessing.

Demi Moore

Annie Hall, is that you? By 1984, it was already seven years post the Diane Keaton look, but darned if Demi wasn't busting it out again. Still, the tweedy jacket and felt hat couldn't hide the sexy young star within. Flash forward to today and the elegant glamour gal seems to only get better with age. Moore! Moore!

Reese Witherspoon

One thing has remained consistent since 1996: Those stunning baby-blues. But long gone is the sensible red blunt cut, here to stay (presumably) are the fabulous trademark legally blonde tresses. After all, they do have more fun, don't they?

Sandra Bullock

Since early on, Sandy has been America's Sweetheart, and she has played up the look brilliantly, as seen here in all her girl-next-door glory at the '94 premiere of Speed. Sure, she's older and presumably a bit wiser (in affairs of the heart, anyway), but the more sultry and sophisticated she becomes, the sweeter on her we remain.
