She's the One (1996)

Our Friend proved that she could hold her own on the big screen as a scorned wife whose husband (Mike McGlone) makes a habit of romantic dalliances. While the film wasn't exactly box office gold, it helped cement Aniston's spot as the go-to gal for those riveting rom-coms.

Now that she's the queen of the rom-com world, keep clicking through to peruse her standout performances that are actually worth remembering.

Office Space (1999)

Flair or no flair, Aniston brought the laughs as a disgruntled waitress who falls for an IT tech (Ron Livingston) in the throws of a midlife crisis in this cult classic.

Rock Star (2001)

While her character's courtship with a rock star wannabe (Mark Wahlberg) was cookie-cutter at best (spoiler alert: they end up together) the grungy rock element made us feel a little bit better about admitting that we liked it.

The Good Girl (2002)

Death by food poisoning, suicide, intelligent literary references...The Good Girl is a far cry from Aniston's roles of late. In a rare twist, her portrayal of a discount store clerk who begins an affair with a fellow employee (Jake Gyllenhaal) received high marks from the critics.

Bruce Almighty (2003)

With a powerhouse cast including Jim Carrey and Morgan Freeman, Jen could've just sat there and read a few lines and we still would've watched it. Alright, maybe that's all she did, but that's why this film is dubbed pretty OK.

Along Came Polly (2004)

Polly (Aniston) is a free-wheeling risk taker and ferret owner who dates the incredibly uptight Reuben (Ben Stiller). Which is crazy because they're total opposites! The plot may be a bit stale, but thanks to hilarious performances by Hank Azaria and Alec Baldwin this film earns our stamp of approval. It's pretty OK!

Friends With Money (2006)

Despite her circle of wealthy friends, Aniston can't seem to find a job or a man in a refreshing twist on the tired rom-com formula.

The Break-Up (2006)

Vince Vaughn's unique brand of humor coupled with Aniston's rapid comedic timing made this amusing (albeit predictable) flick worth a watch, if only to watch the pair duke it out.

Marley & Me (2008)

That adorable puppy may have stolen the spotlight, but Aniston's on-screen chemistry with costar Owen Wilson kept us glued to the screen.

The Switch (2010)

After deciding to have a baby with the help of a turkey baster, Aniston's Kassie finds out that her best friend (Jason Bateman) switched her pre-selected sperm with his own. You have plenty of time to ponder the logistics of that while watching this charmingly OK movie.
