The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1
July 21, 11:15 a.m. (Hall H)
Robert Pattinson. Kristen Stewart. Taylor Lautner. 6,500 slavering fans. Bella and Edward's love story is epic, and this panel—easily the most anticipated of the four-day convention—will be, too.

Cowboys and Aliens
Finally, it's here, the delightfully ridiculous-sounding movie Jon Favreau left the Iron Man franchise to direct and Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde chose to unironically star in.
The Amazing Spider-Man
July 22, 5:15 p.m. (Hall H)
This reboot of the not-very-old franchise, starring Andrew Garfield as the skintight-suited webslinger and Emma Stone as his original love interest, Gwen Stacy, doesn't even hit theaters for another year—which is why it's even more important we milk Comic-Con for every little tidbit and sneak peek we can possibly get!
Snow White and the Huntsman
July 23, 3:30 p.m. (Hall H)
Over the next couple years, we will be bombarded with Snow White films, but this one's the first—and, most importantly, the only making an appearance at Comic-Con this year. Kristen Stewart (who's in town for that other little movie she's starring in, too) plays the damsel in distress turned warrior princess in the "I am woman, hear me roar" update of the classic fairytale. Charlize Theron plays the evil queen who strives to be fairest in the land and Chris Hemsworth is the huntsman sent to kill Snow White who falls in love instead.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
July 21, 11 a.m. (Hall H)
Why are we so excited about this motion-capture adventure flick based on the bestselling stories about an intrepid Belgian reporter? Besides the revolutionary graphics and top-notch vocal talent (Daniel Craig, Jamie Bell, Simon Pegg, etc.)? Um, how about the fact that Mr. Steven Spielberg is making his first-ever Comic-Con appearance (in the flesh, that is) to talk about it?!
The Hunger Games
Sadly, it's true, there is no scheduled panel for this exciting franchise-in-the-making. But the cult-favorite novels are just so tailor-made for Comic-Con, and the film adaptation is just so brimming with awesome talent, we shall remain in denial and hope for the best. And maybe a surprise or two?
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Alas, the panel is unexpected, too. As in, we don't expect one. While there will be Tolkien-centric panels and gatherings aplenty, not to mention all sorts of cool dudes walking around in Gandalf robes, Peter Jackson has not planned any official appearance or event at which he would obviously unveil any scoop or secrets. But we will keep our eyes and elven ears open for you!
Man of Steel
At least, we think it's called Man of Steel. The second Superman reboot of our generation is coming together as we speak, starring British dish Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, and Warner Bros. hasn't planned a thing for this year's convention! But, as always, DC Comics will have its imprint all over the place, and if anyone tries to sneak some Superman scoop by us...Trust us, they won't.
Immortals
July 23, 1 p.m. (Hall H)
Though not with a Superman panel, Henry Cavill will be in the building representing this battle-of-the-shirtless-gods epic costarring Kellan Lutz, Mickey Rourke, Freida Pinto and Luke Evans (who's also in The Hobbit, so who knows what he could end up spilling).
The Dark Knight Rises
Wow, Warner Bros. is really sticking it to us this summer. No Superman, and no Batman either, with nothing scheduled for the conclusion of Christopher Nolan's origin-of-the-hero trilogy. In the meantime, we'll have to be content with this teaser. But if there's any sign of Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, et al. in the area, we promise, we won't sleep until we find out what they're doing there.
In Time
Really just an excuse for a studio to cast nothing but PYTs, the sci fi thriller stars Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Alex Pettyfer, Olivia Wilde and The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki as members of a futuristic society in which people stop aging at 25 and have to start working for their daily breath. No panel is scheduled, but the cast will be meeting with the press.
Fright Night
July 22, 2:45 p.m. (Hall H)
Colin Farrell stars as the dashing-yet-deadly vampire next door in this remake of the cheesy 1985 horror flick. He will be in the house, along with Star Trek standout Anton Yelchin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Imogen Poots, to answer fans' questions about what it's like to be playing a mean version of Edward Cullen on the big screen.
Total Recall
July 22, 4 p.m. (Hall H)
This remake of the 1990 sci-fi thriller also stars Colin Farrell, as well as Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale and Breaking Bad badass Bryan Cranston as the villainous Vilos Cohaagen. The darn fine cast and director Len Wiseman will be part of the Sony block of panels that also includes Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, 30 Minutes or Less and The Amazing Spider-Man.
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark
July 21, 2 p.m. (Hall H)
Horror-fantasy mashup master Guillermo del Toro gets behind Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce and poor little Bailee Madison as the kid whom the demons want to claim as their own. The film got mixed reviews when it screened at Cannes, but, perhaps we'll get a better handle on what to expect once Film District screens exclusive sneak peeks of this and Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan.
Underworld: Awakening
July 22, 1:30 p.m. (Hall H)
Kate Beckinsale returns in 3-D to the franchise that she made super sexy, and that's cause for celebration—and a panel, featuring the British babe, Michael Ealy, directors Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein, and Len Wiseman, who directed the first two Underworld films (and is in town talking up Total Recall).
