Humble Beginnings
As a child actor, Jones appeared in the musical Oliver! as the Artful Dodger in London. He later reprised the role on the Broadway stage and was nominated for a Tony Award.
Monkee Business
Jones became a household name, along with Mickey Dolenz, Peter Tork and Mike Nesmith, when the four hit the small screen as the made-for-TV pop band the Monkees. The series ran from 1966 to 1968—and forever in syndication and the minds of fans.
In Touch With His Roots
Jones was the Monkee who hailed from England, a fact he subtly alluded to during a 1967 episode.

Jones made a memorable guest appearance as himself on The Brady Bunch, much to the delight of the TV family's eldest daughter, who quickly became the envy of every teenage girl out there.

One of the most unforgettable moments on The Monkees came when Jones belted out one of the group's biggest hits, "Daydream Believer."
Father Figure
He may have been a heartthrob to the rest of the world, but to his daughters Jessica and Annabel (both from his second marriage), he was simply Dad. As well, Jones also had two daughters, Talia and Sarah, from his first marriage.
Third Times the Charm
The pop idol tied the knot with Jessica Pacheco in 2009.
Going Solo
Jones performed in London, sans his former bandmates, in May 2011.

The group came together several times over the last few years, including this June 2011 performance in Atlanta.
