Why She Won't: Critics weren't too kind to 30 Rock this year, and they might just give nods to Baldwin and Fey and pass over Krakowski this year.
Jane Lynch, Glee
Why She Will Be Nominated: She's been nominated before and she's won before for her role as Sue Sylvester. Even when Glee is at a low point creatively, Lynch still keeps us laughing.
Why She Won't: It was not Glee's best season, but if anyone can get nominated from that show, it's Lynch.
Aubrey Plaza, Parks and Recreation
Why She Will Be Nominated: On a wonderful show with an equally wonderful cast like Parks and Recreation, it's hard to stand out. But Plaza manages that with her deadpan delivery and adorably weird relationship with Andy.
Why She Won't: The same reason why she will be: even though she stands out, there are so many talented people on that cast to nominate, Plaza could be in danger of being overlooked. Especially since PRex still isn't the hottest show on voters' radars. Yet.
Naya Rivera, Glee
Why She Will Be Nominated: Naya had a lot of dramatic material to work with this year on Glee, and combined with her already great comedic abilities, she was the show's highlight in season three.
Why She Won't Be: Lynch will most likely get the nod instead of her.
Merritt Wever, Nurse Jackie
Why She Will Be Nominated: She should have been nominated last year! Edie Falco gets all the attention for Nurse Jackie (rightfully so), but Weaver is the most underrated actress on that show. She lights up every scene she's in.
Why She Won't Be: "Underrated" is another term for "an actor that will be overlooked come Emmy time for no reason other than they are not a well known name." And it definitely applies to this situation.
Casey Wilson, Happy Endings
Why She Will Be Nominated: Wilson's portrayal of "poor single girl" Penny on Happy Endings could easily be a cliché role, but Wilson makes her consistently funny, relatable, and wacky enough to keep us guessing.
Why She Won't Be: Happy Endings isn't exactly the number one show on Emmy voters' radars, but if anyone can pull off a nod from the ABC series, Wilson would be the one!
