Plain White T

It breaks our hearts to report that we do not approve of Julia Roberts' Dolce & Gabbana...situation. It looks like she's wearing a tube-top and mermaid skirt over her husband's white dress shirt! So much for America's Sweetheart making a stunning awards season comeback...

Chanel Fail!

We can't believe we're about to say this about the house of Chanel and our love Emma Stone, but this awkward, ill-fitting, totally '90s skirt and top combo may be our least favorite look from the Golden Globes (and yes, we saw Paula Patton's crazy tissue dress)! It's like a vintage prom dress gone so, so wrong!

Tinsel Town

Did Mila Kunis use the leftover tinsel from her Christmas tree to embellish this halter dress? If so, she should really start her own DIY red carpet gowns Pinterest board.

Green Lantern

In honor of Olivia Wilde in this Gucci creation we'd like to officially re-create the classic green comic book hero as a wildly brave pregnant woman who fights crime on the side in a skin-tight green dress. We know a few thousand woman who would make their very first trip to the comic book store for that story.

Baby Bump Bouquet

Drey Barrymore seems to think we'll notice her pregnancy belly less if she covers it in a thousand little kid colored flowers, courtesy of designer Monique Lhuillier. The truth is, she's kind of right!

Sheers and Florals and Sparkles, Oh My!

On the plus side, Zoe Saldana's Prabal Gurung dress is kind of like three dresses in one. On the minus, their forces combined make for a giant mess.

Classic Calvin

We knew Reese Witherspoon was wearing Calvin Klein before she even uttered the famed designer's name. Nobody does simply, sophisticated style quite like the American icon, but in this pop of aqua it's equally edgy.

Boy or Girl Gown

It's like Sandra Bullock couldn't decide whether her dress was a baby boy or baby girl. We're fans of the synched shape on this Prabal Gurung design, but the giant pink and blue stripes against that black are too weird a choice to win our hearts.

Dior Snore?

We can't believe we're about to say this about our Harry Potter heroine Emma Watson, but this red Dior dress is a snooze fest! Yes, the color is rich and stunning, but the cap sleeves and jersey-like fabric are more fit for a fancy dinner than A-list awards show.

Diana Diva

She may play the famously reserved royal on screen but Naomi Watts is gold and bold in her slinky Tom Ford. We're fans of the all-over glitz, but aside from the shine there's nothing wildly special about this style.

Pop Princess

Taylor Swift knocks it out of the park yet again in this two-tone Carolina Herrera creation. There's little to the gown but a contrasting sweetheart neckline and a pristinely draped skirt, but when the hanger for those design details is America's southern sweetheart, that's plenty for red carpet perfection.

Dior Double-Take

Is it us or does this trumpet-skirted, pale-colored ballgown look suspiciously like Jennifer Lawrence's Oscar look? We're not say we don't adore the banded black-and-white strapless, we were just hoping for something a little less like the most famous dress she ever wore.

Sexy Side-Kick

Amy Poehler's Gucci gown makes her the hot co-host to Tina's sophisticated lady. We just wish this halter look was an actual halter top and not a weird asymmetrical thing that we can't quite understand.

Baby Bump Beauty

Kerry Washington looks cute as a button in this Balenciaga gown. The pure white makes it perfect "mommy" material, but simple side wings gives it a little A-list actress flair.

Floral Funny Lady

Yes, this dress may be better fit for a southern debutante, but we applaud Tina Fey's bold ball gown move. The co-host's Carolina Herrera makes her look young, vibrant and ready to bring in the laughs.

Under-the-Sea Style?

Why exactly does Julianna Margulies have aquarium trees on her Golden Globes dress? The gold leaf look would be lovely on this Andrew Chin dress if that pattern didn't make us feel like we should be looking for Nemo among her dress folds.

'70s Sexy

Looks like Amy Adams took a cue from her most recent character with this slinky scarlet Valentino style. The plunging neckline looks like something out of the American Hustle closet, but the color is full-on red carpet, literally.

Brit Ballgown

Michelle Dockery looks appropriately like an English royal in this pastel Oscar de la Renta. It's borderline church bell-shaped, but we're too distracted by the shimmery detail throughout the care.

Lace Love

Cate Blanchett has had her swings and misses, but this Armani creation is red carpet home run. The silhouette is perfection on her slight figure and the cut-out neckline adds just enough intrigue. But it's the gorgeous lace fabric that really has our jaw on the floor. That Giorgio certainly knows his way around a fabric shop.

Killer First Impression

If this perfect Ralph Lauren dress is any indication, the whole fashion-loving world is about to be very familiar with the name Lupita Nyong'o. The 12 Years a Slave star stuns in the rich-colored creation making us wonder why every dress doesn't come with a Super Style Woman cape.

Upside Down Banana?

If you turn Lena Dunham's Zac Posen gown upside down, it kind of looks like a strangely unpeeled banana. That's not to say we don't appreciate the Girls star stepping out in a bold shape and wild color that hugs her body just right. We just also think it looks like slightly askew fruit.

New Girl, Old Look

For TV's New Girl, Zooey Deschanel certainly isn't much for new looks. This Oscar de la Renta two piece is lovely, shimmery and light, but it's also exactly what we expected.

Golden Girl

Parenthood nominee Monica Potter is in the proper golden spirit with this shimmery-topped Ramona Keveza dress. Based on this combo we're hoping black-and-gold is the new black-and-white.

Gatsby Girl

Looks like Elisabeth Moss is trading her Mad Men era looks for a roaring '20s take. We're big fans of this skin-hugging sequined J. Mendel dress, especially with that hint of scarlet peeking out from underneath.
