Wow, we never thought we would see the day when we would put Lupita on one of our worst lists, but how can we forgive the hair lump that looks like a cartoon character's head injury? But holy Hell, her makeup looks good…that electric violet eye shadow (Lancôme Color Design in Miss Sweetheart) paired with the iridescent bronze lipstick made all of Lupita's best features shine.
Taylor Swift
We know Taylor is loving her new hipster hair but there's a time and place for everything. This hairstyle was way too casual for the Met Gala. Swifty can't be a slave to her bangs—she needs to push those bad boys back for formal events! Casual hair aside, we did love her gorgeous matte tomato lip.
Reese Witherspoon
Have you ever seen such healthy, shiny hair? Reese's Old Hollywood Glam faux bob got her a slot on our "best of" list. Normally we would poo-poo the tweeny pink lip, but matched with the pink dress it seemed to work (in all honesty, we probably worshipped this look because it screamed Elle Woods.)
Anne Hathaway
We know this is going to totally shock you but we actually liked Anne's hair last night! She finally gave up on looking like a soccer mom and gave her pixie a little edge with the extreme side part. You know what we're going to say about the frosty pink lipstick…not only is it terrible but it clashed with her tomato red dress.
Beyoncé
Is Beyoncé mourning the death of her hair extensions? This widow look is bad with a capital "B." The netting is too thick, making us think that every time Queen B blinked, her lashes probably got stuck. And the vampy red lipstick is just a bit too Goth paired with the all-black ensemble.
Blake Lively
Blake definitely had one of the best hair looks of the night. Putting a modern spin on Old Hollywood waves, Mrs. Reynolds pinned half of her hair back and let the rest cascade down her back in all its gloriousness. As for the makeup, you know what we're going to say…WE HATE THE PINK LIPSTICK!

Okay, we're just going to come out and say it—when we saw this photo of the star of the new How I Met Your Dad series, our first thought was, "She looks like a drag queen about to put on her wig." The hair is pulled back to a severe degree and the makeup is just too heavy for her delicate features.
Kate Bosworth
Ladies, meet the poster child for highlighter and bronzer abuse. Ms. Bosworth has got so much faux glow and glistening going on that she's only a brush stroke away from looking like a wax sculpture of herself. And again with that frosty pink lipstick! No bueno.

This hairstyle was a bad walking identity crisis—prom-sculpted curl in the front and warrior braid in the back. And of course we were shocked to see the pouty Ms. Stewart choose an inky smoked eye and matte nude lip for her makeup palette. So original!

Honestly, is Gisele even wearing makeup? Is it us or does it look like the Brazilian beauty came from a day at the beach with the family, slapped on a dress and some nude gloss before hitting the red carpet? We feel like she's mocking us.

While we loved Marion's sparkly champagne eye shadow and glossy tomato lip, the French actress's hair helmet was just bad news.
Cobie Smulders
When we look at this photo of Cobie, all we see is that harsh white eyeliner on the inner rims of her eyes. If she was trying for the old makeup artist trick to make the whites of her eyes seem brighter, she should have a used a more flesh-toned eyeliner so the color wouldn't be so distracting. She also went a bit crazy with the bronzer and highlighter, giving her makeup an artificial vibe.
Kim Kardashian
We know Kim was going for the classic Old Hollywood glam hair but it seems like the curls just didn't take. Either her hairstylist didn't curl her hair long enough or Kim changed her mind at the last minute and brushed them out. Either way, the hair seemed a bit half-assed.
Katie Holmes
We can't believe Suri Cruise let her mom leave the house with that hair! What a mess! We're desperately trying to figure out who told Katie it would be a good idea to tuck and pin just the back of her hair. We're convinced that Tom Cruise secretly hired Katie's new hairstylist. There is no other possible excuse for this hair disaster.
Charlize Theron
As usual, Charlize Theron's look screamed "movie star." We loved how she added volume to the crown of her head to add some drama to her ‘do.We'll even forgive the pale pink lipstick since the blonde stunner did sultry smoky eyes.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone was clearly one of the celebrities who didn't do her Charles James research because the red-headed actress's loose, messy twisted braid was way too casual for the Met Gala. We didn't love the Amazing Spider-Man 2 actress's makeup either—she wore too much shimmery frost on her eyelids above the creases, which made her upper eyes look puffy. And her lipstick was in desperate need of a touch-up.
Shailene Woodley
We hate to say it but Shailene's hair is suburban soccer mom city. The ashy highlights and spiky styling puts 20 years on the young actress.
Rihanna
Don't be shocked but we kind of liked RiRi's sexy pile of messy curls. It was a bit of an eighties throwback and just looked sexy to us. But that matte pale pink lipstick goes against everything we believe in as beauty mavens. We personally think that shade should be banned from drugstore shelves everywhere.
Kirsten Dunst
Kirsten Dunst looked ultra-chic last night with her sleek updo, smoky eye and raspberry red lip. We think her look was so spot-on that she could have been part of the Charles James exhibit.
Sarah Silverman
We're huge Sarah Silverman fans so you can imagine we were quite disappointed to see this harsh, slicked back hair helmet. While we loved that the comedienne opted for a sophisticated bun, she should have added some volume to the crown to give this look a bit more femininity. We also hated the clashing pink lipstick with her maroon gown.
Olivia Munn
In one word: stunning. The Newsroom star looks like she jumped off the silver screen. The side parted, super soft curls held back with an Art Deco hairpin were pure perfection. We also loved Olivia's simple eye makeup and flattering coral lipstick.
Victoria Beckham
While the unsmiling fashion designer's hair (extensions) look shiny and healthy to her shoulders, once they get to her chest they take on a serpent shape. She should have worn her hair up in a dramatic beehive or high chignon. We did love her sultry smoky eye but that pale nude lipstick made her lips literally disappear. And she really needs to take it easy with the highlighter—she's getting into dangerous Kate Bosworth territory.
