Defending Miley! Hating Perez! Mourning Jon & Kate!

Miley Cyrus poses what the Twitterverse deems too sexy; meanwhile, Perez is taking quite the lashing by his followers

It's a busy day in the Twitterverse. So many emotions over everything that is important. Rainn Wilson summed it up best with his tweet: "So much focus on #iranelection... Bor-inG! Need to hear more about Chris Brown, @perezhilton and Jon and Kate + their larvae!"

'Nuff said. So let's get Twitter funtime going with Miley Cyrus acting age-inappropriate.

The 16-year-old was hanging out with her Last Song producer Adam Shankman yesterday in the makeup room, where they were "joking around like girls see pics in magazines"—and he posted the photos on his Twitter.

Then he had to defend Miles after everyone accused her of looking skanky: "Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room! Seriously! Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics! She's like my angel little sister."

As for the rest of the Twitterverse, they're too busy feeling sad about Jon and Kate and hating on Perez Hilton to pay attention to Miley's exposed shoulders.

• Shanna Moakler, who also enjoys a little public bickering with her ex Travis Barker every now and then, found the Jon & Kate divorce too real: "Jon & Kate plus 8, way to close to home for me, how incredibly sad."

• Adrianne Curry dealt with her anger by lashing out before apologizing: "sorry about my John&Kate rant.As a child of divorce,it sickens me these people will continue to film their children and their pain!" Then she blogged about it.

• Disney's most charming and adorable star, Selena Gomez, was even stricken with Jon & Kate grief: "Just watched Jon and Kate Plus 8... I send my love and prayers to their family." Fortunately, she had a little Shia LaBeouf to help her through the sads and turned her emoticon upside down.

• As for the Perez Hilton situation, the Twitterverse has no sympathy. Or false sympathy, like that of John Mayer. Take it away, joke man: "@perezhilton's video statement is so long that by the end of it his cut healed." Oh you got more? "@perezhilton I also want to train you in an old martial art called 'Never Call A Black Dude a F----t Jitsu.' " When Kirstie Alley is your biggest cheerleader, time to give it up.

• Other people giving Perez the ol' "haha in yo face, sucka!" include the kid from Malcolm in the Middle, the guy who was (is?) dating Katy Perry, Tila Tequila (if she counts) and Kirstie Alley. Even Pete Wentz is lmao-ing. In other words, a real A-list crowd.
