Michael Jackson's not letting anyone forget who's King.

As mourning fans flocked to record stores, the King of Pop lived up to his title by outselling any living artist. Three of his catalog titles each sold more copies than the No. 1 album on the pop charts.

Number Ones sold 108,000, The Essential Michael Jackson sold 102,000 and Thriller sold 101,000, while the best-selling title on the Billboard 200, the Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D., managed just 88,000.

It's the first time in history a catalog title has outsold more than a current album.

All told, Jackson accounted for nine albums on the Catalog Top 10, per Nielsen SoundScan: his breakthrough Off the Wall at No. 4, the Jackson 5's Ultimate Collection at No. 5, Bad (the only album ever to score five No. 1 pop singles) at No. 6, Dangerous at No. 7, Greatest Hits: HIStory, Vol. I at No. 8 and the 2004 box set The Ultimate Collection, debuting on the chart for the first time at No. 9.

This also marks the first time any artist has held that many spots in the same top 10 of any chart.

Jackson sold a total of 415,000 albums for the week, up from 10,000 the previous week. Nearly 60 percent of his album sales were digital, as music stores did not have the inventory to meet the sudden spike in demand.

The only non-Jackson title in the Catalog Top 10 was the Woodstock soundtrack, selling 8,000 copies at No. 10. In connection with Woodstock's 40th anniversary next month, an expanded version of the film was released on Blu-Ray and DVD.

(An album is relegated to the catalog charts 18 months after its release.)

The pop icon also set a record by taking six spots on the Top Digital Albums chart. The Essential Michael Jackson crowned that chart on 80,000 downloads, followed by Thriller with 57,000.

And Jackson's record-setting milestones certainly didn't stop there. He also rewrote the history books by charting 42 tracks on the Top 200 Digital Song chart. "Thriller" led the pack at No. 2, adding 167,000 downloads to Jackson's grand total of 2.6 million digital songs sold. This makes him the first artist ever to crack the million-download ceiling in a single week.

He dominated the airwaves as well. "Billie Jean" received the most spins, over 45,000 compared to 318 the week previous, per Nielsen BDS.

While Jackson owned the album charts this week, there were a few other notable new additions. Regina Spektor led the new debuts with a career-high No. 3 bow on sales of 49,000. Dream Theater's Black Clouds and Silver Linings (No. 6, 40,000), the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen soundtrack (No. 7, 39,000) and Ginuwine's Man's Thoughts (No. 9, 37,000) wrapped up the top 10 debuts.

The Jonas Brothers, who topped last weeks' chart with Lines, Vines and Trying Times, swapped places with the Black Eyed Peas at No. 2.
