Colton Underwood has started a rosy new chapter.

The Bachelor alum and his husband, political strategist Jordan C. Brown, announced the arrival of their baby boy, Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood, on Instagram Sept. 30.

"Our world is a million times better with you in it. Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood," the couple captioned the joint post. "September 26th, 2024."

Colton and Jordan, who wed in May 2023—two years after the reality star came out as gay—were all smiles as they held their newborn sleeping in a carrier.

In addition to the family portrait of the three dressed in shades of blue and white, Colton and Jordan also posted a trio of black-and-white photos of Bishop—whom they welcomed via surrogate—holding one of his dads' fingers, laying on one of their stomachs and being cradled as one of them fed him a bottle.

The couple first announced that they were parents to be back in May, writing on Instagram, "Our little boy is coming this fall."

Colton opened up about their up-and-down process to becoming parents in May, revealing that it's something that brought them together when they first started dating.

"That was one of the things we bonded over early in our relationship. We both wanted to be dads,” he told Men's Health at the time. “It's been such an incredible experience for us to go through this together, and I cannot wait to watch Jordan become a dad."

The former NFL player also opened up about having to undergo "sperm rehab" after finding out through the fertility process—which the couple started two years prior to learning their surrogate was pregnant—that he had a low sperm count.

After learning so much not only about his own health but also about and the IVF process, Colton found himself wanting to share his wisdom with the world.

"I was like, 'Oh, I should talk about this publicly,'” he recalled. “Because nobody talks about this publicly.”

That realization, as well as questions he was getting from his loved ones, gave him to start his podcast, Daddyhood, earlier this year in an effort to pull back the curtain on the road to parenthood.

"I had my own family asking me how this process works," Colton said. "Like, 'Who’s the mom and who’s the dad in the relationship? Who’s the boy and who’s the girl? How does the mom work? Are the egg donor and surrogate the same?'”

He jokingly added, “I’m only 32, but people weirdly comment ‘daddy’ on my photos, and I’m like, I’ll enter my daddyhood for you."
