Watch: What President Joe Biden Said to Donald Trump During Milestone Inauguration Reunion

Senator John Fetterman has his own take on inauguration chic.

As President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris passed the baton to President-Elect Donald Trump and JD Vance during the Inauguration Jan. 20, the Pennsylvania senator made an appearance in a black hoodie, gray gym shorts and sneakers.

And despite a cold front that has caused the ceremony to be moved inside the United States Capitol Rotunda for the first time since Ronald Reagan’s 1985 inauguration, Fetterman still opted to stay true to his signature casual look.

Fetterman was also joined by many other politicians who came dressed to impress, including President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President Harris and First Gentleman Doug Emhoff, as well as former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

But among the most eye-catching looks was Melania Trump’s. The First Lady arrived in a stunning Adam Lippes custom double breasted navy blue coat and matching skirt, with an ivory blouse, dark blue suede heels and a wide-brimmed boater hat to complete the look.

Inauguration 2025: See Donald Trump, Melania Trump’s Rare Air-Kiss Moment

“The tradition of the presidential inauguration embodies the beauty of American democracy and today we had the honor to dress our first lady, Mrs. Melania Trump,” Adam Lippes told Vogue in a statement ahead of the ceremony. “Mrs. Trump’s outfit was created by some of America’s finest craftsmen and I take great pride in showing such work to the world. With deep gratitude to Mrs. Trump for her trust and collaboration.”

And by her side, Trump’s youngest son Barron Trump looked quite dapper himself while making a rare appearance to support his father alongside siblings Donald Trump Jr.Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump, whose mom is Trump’s late ex Ivana Trump, as well as Tiffany Trump, whose mom is Marla Maples. The 18-year-old, who is a freshman at New York University, donned a classic blue suit and tie as well as a slicked back hairstyle.

The support from the Trump family members didn’t stop there. Ivanka even brought her husband Jared Kushner and their kids Arabella, 13, Joseph, 11, and Theodore, 8, to show their support from inside the Capitol.

But while the 43-year-old is no stranger to seeing her dad sworn into office—as he was 45th president before his loss to Biden in 2020—it will be different this time around. During her dad’s first term from 2017 to 2021, Ivanka held a senior advisor position. Now, she has made it clear that she wants to take a step back to be with her kids.

“I know the cost,” Ivanka told hosts Lauryn Bosstick and Michael Bosstick on a recent episode of their Skinny Confidential podcast Him & Her Show, “and it’s a price that I’m not willing to make my kids bear.”

“Every time I had to miss something,” she said of the cherished milestones in her kids’ lives, “I’m like, ‘I will never let this happen again the minute I leave the White House.’”
