Watch: Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Break Up After 9 Years Together

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are officially each other's one that got away.

The parents of Daisy Dove Bloom—who first went public with their romance in 2016 and later got engaged—have broken up after nine years together, multiple outlets confirm

E! News has reached out to reps for Katy and Orlando.

While they've yet to speak out about their status, Orlando arrived in Italy solo on June 26 for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's star-studded wedding.

Earlier this year, the "Teenage Dream" singer and Lord of the Rings alum became the subject of split rumors after she kicked off her Lifetimes Tour and the duo began spending more time apart.

And although they're entering a new chapter as coparents, this isn't the first time Katy, 40, and Orlando, 48, have gone their separate ways.

Less than a year after making their romance Instagram official, the pair briefly called it quits as well, with their reps telling People in a February 2017 statement, "We can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time."

However, the two insisted that they remained friends during the break and later reunited in 2018, the same year they made their official red carpet debut as a couple at the Gala for the Global Ocean at the Opera of Monte-Carlo in Monaco.

Katy and Orlando announced their engagement the following year, and in 2020, the duo welcomed their daughter Daisy, now 4.

For the "Hot N Cold" singer—who was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012—raising a daughter alongside Orlando has been one of the greatest experiences.

"She had some good karma coming to us," Katy said of Daisy during a September 2024 appearance on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up. "She is such our gift and she is such a blessing."

And her mother-daughter bond with the little one has been so impactful that it's inspired the musician's creative process as well.

"What she has given me in my life [is] the unconditional love that I was always searching for," Katy told E! News in April 2024. "That is where I am creating from. Just like wholeness, happiness and just true full love."

And the former American Idol judge has had nothing but sweet words to describe watching Orlando—who also shares son Finn, 13, with ex Miranda Kerr—become a girl dad. As Katy put it during a September 2024 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, "One of his strengths is that, when I crumble, he can step in and be that anchor."

"'Cause I'm usually just, 'Alpha, alpha, I don't need any help,'" she continued. "But actually, I do need help! And for as strong as I am, I was like, 'No, I do need a partner.'"
