There’s only love in Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s festive building.
As Christmas nears, the I Said I Love You First singers—who tied the knot in September—offered a look at how they’re celebrating the holiday together as a married couple.
In her Dec. 4 Instagram post, Selena, 33, shared a sweet video of her and Benny, 37, decorating their Christmas tree. The newlyweds didn’t follow a specific color pattern, as their ornaments ranged from turquoise finials and pink spheres to a small jar of pickles.
She fittingly captioned the milestone, “Our first Christmas as a married couple.”
This post comes weeks after the duo also toasted to their first Thanksgiving together. In November, Selena posted a photo of her and the producer cozied up near their fireplace, before showcasing their stunning outdoor setup. In the backyard, they decorated two long wooden tables with flowers and rust-colored candles, expanding that warm theme up their steps.
“Most thankful for all of you today,” the Rare Beauty founder wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time. “Happy Thanksgiving.”
Indeed, the couple have been counting their blessings since their California wedding. In fact, Benny—who first met Selena after he worked on her 2015 album Revival—reminisced on his favorite memories from the ceremony on Instagram last month, including when they danced together at their reception.
And true to their chemistry, Benny vowed in the caption: “Promise to love you forever.”
Selena has also been embracing the bliss they’ve created so far—even though she had nervous jitters when she walked down the aisle.
“I got married and then I was sobbing, because I was like, ‘I’m gonna die the next day,’” the “Good for You” singer said at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women conference in October. “Instead of being present and saying, ‘Wow, we’ve done a great thing,’ I’m always thinking, ‘But this could all go away tomorrow.’ So how can I make sure that doesn't happen?’”
She continued of her then-emotions, “I can just get wrapped up in that as opposed to enjoying things. That’s my biggest conflict sometimes, when wonderful things happen.”
