Watch: Leonardo DiCaprio Reveals Best Part of Working With Teyana Taylor

Leonardo DiCaprio and Teyana Taylor had one laugh after another while working together.

Before the Paul Thomas Anderson film earned a whopping 14 nominations for the Critics Choice Awards 2026, the Titanic alum—who earned a Best Actor nod for his role as Bob Ferguson—emphasized that it was an honor to work alongside the multi-hyphenate.

“She’s got the best sense of humor,” Leonardo told E! News at the premiere of the film in September. “I knew when she was brought into this movie, I was like, ‘This girl is gonna bring the heat.’ And she did. She’s an amazing hang. She’s awesome.”

The “Gonna Love Me” singer—who nabbed a Best Supporting Actress nod at the upcoming Critics Choice Awards, which will air live Jan. 4 on E! and USA—naturally concurred.

“Leo is a good time,” Teyana told E!. “He’s so much fun. That’s my brother. He’s a mentor and a great leader on set.”

Indeed, costar Chase Infiniti, 25, who earned her first ever Critics Choice Award nomination with a nod in the Best Actress category, has also made her bond with the Oscar winner clear in an unlikely place: TikTok.

He's good at TikToks," she told E! News last month. “Leonardo DiCaprio loves a TikTok. I can't say that he taught me very much, but he does love a TikTok."

As she put it, "He'd just pulled me aside  during the press tour and been like, 'Look at this one!' and I'll crack up.”

But for Leo, the camaraderie on set was only part of the reason he took on the leading role in the action comedy.

“I like films that have a lot of thought put into them,” he noted to E!. "Paul’s been tinkering around with the story for 20 years. It’s really an unpredictable odyssey. There’s so many deceptive characters in this movie, there’s so many interesting layers to it. But it’s this insane sort of action comedy that has so many incredible actors but the heart of it is about a father trying to get back to his daughter.”
