What, like it’s hard for Reese Witherspoon to get into the holiday spirit?
Indeed, the Oscar winner recently showed off her jolly side, sharing a glimpse into her family’s holiday festivities alongside rare photos with all three of her lookalike kids.
In the adorable snaps posted to her Instagram Dec. 21, Reese—who is mom to Ava Philippe, 26, and Deacon Philippe, 22, with ex Ryan Philippe, as well as Tennessee Toth, 13, with ex Jim Toth—can be seen soaking up all the holiday cheer.
In the first picture of her photo dump, Reese and Ava are absolute twins as they posed for the camera in matching black and metallic outfits. In another photo, her oldest son Deacon towered over the Legally Blonde star as the pair took a mirror selfie. Meanwhile, in a separate sweet snap, Reese, 49, also shared a Facetime screenshot of her and Tennessee looking surprised while out in the snow.
As she captioned the post alongside a red heart and Christmas tree emoji, “Making Merry.”
But the joy didn’t stop there. Also sprinkled throughout the post were photos of an expertly decorated Christmas tree, a gorgeous gingerbread house, and even a snap of Reese with pal and Big Little Lies costar Laura Dern.
And while Reese is notoriously private about her family life, she’s been candid about the hardships of motherhood, especially when it came to raising her little ones as a working actress.
“Someone asked me what raising three kids and building a career in Hollywood looked like,” Reese wrote in an Aug. 14 Instagram post featuring throwback pics with her kids. “It looked like spending a lot of time in trailers together. It looked like always being on the road together.”
And as the The Morning Show star noted, raising kids in the limelight also came with a nonstop schedule.
“It looked really hard sometimes I’d cry working 14 to 17 hours, sometimes all night long and still woke up early for carpool,” she wrote over a selfie with Ava and Deacon. “I was deliriously tired.”
“It looked like trying to say something positive about work when I got home at night,” she continued, “so my kids would know that my work was meaningful to me and could be fun!”
But even with its many hurdles, the Reese’s Book Club founder wouldn’t have changed a thing.
“In conclusion, even though it was challenging at times, having kids gave me perspective about what was important in life,” she added. “Nothing was better than getting to come home and hug them and hear about their day.”
