The actress broke the news on Twitter with a lengthy note to fans, writing, "I was emotionally attached to this story and to everyone involved so I'm a little shell shocked right now, but I feel fortunate that we got to tell a really beautiful story."

The good girls will continue to go bad on NBC, as the network renewed the drama starring Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman and Retta for a second season.

At long last, ABC finally has a singing competition that has earned itself a second season. The new judging panel on the network's revival of the iconic reality series—Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie—will be back for a second season, along with hosting mainstay Ryan Seacrest.

The host uprising will continue as HBO has renewed its head-scratching sci-fi thriller for a third season.
