This was the night for Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup to show off their love.
After all, the Mulholland Drive actress couldn't help but share some sweet kisses with her husband on the red carpet for his film Jay Kelly at the Venice Film Festival on Aug. 28.
For the world premiere of the George Clooney-led project, Naomi—donning a stunning beige Valentino gown featuring beaded floral appliqués—held onto Billy's hand as she pressed her lips to his cheek.
For his part, the Almost Famous actor—who arrived in a creamy white tuxedo jacket with a black bowtie—was all smiles during the intimate moment.
Having Naomi, 56, by Billy's side during his major achievements has been just as much of an honor as earning the recognition. When the 57-year-old won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for The Morning Show at the 2024 Emmys, he praised his wife during the acceptance speech.
"I'm happy to be here with my piece of eye candy there, my wife, who also happens to be an immigrant and also gave a searing performance this year for which she's nominated," he gushed on stage. "And she starts businesses, too. So nice to be by her side."
Meanwhile, Naomi—who shares kids Sasha, 18, and Kai, 16, with ex Liev Schreiber—wrote on Instagram after the win, "Proud of you, Billy."
For Naomi and Billy—dad to his and ex Mary-Louise Parker's son William, 21—taking a shot at love after all these years was daunting but worth the leap.
"It's never too late," the actress—who married the Watchman star in 2023—said on Live With Kelly and Mark in January 2024. "We found each other late in life. It's really a special thing."
As Naomi navigated a new chapter in her life, it was their bond, in fact, that helped keep her grounded amid her experience with menopause.
"He really is a special man," she explained on The Drew Barrymore Show this January. “When I was deep in my shame, I felt he understood me. He felt compassionate and curious and empathetic. He really felt like this was something I should lean into."
