Trisha Paytas is taking on an euphoric new role.
When Euphoria season three premieres in spring 2026, returning stars Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane and Sydney Sweeney will be joined by a number of new costars, the YouTube star.
After the HBO series confirmed the news of her casting Oct. 17, Trisha shared it to her Instagram grid with a blushing emoji.
And on her Instagram Story, the 37-year-old—mom to Malibu, 2, Elvis, 17 months and Aquaman, 3 months with husband Moses Hacmon—showed her initial reaction to being cast in the iconic series, showing off a screenshot of a text she sent to pals that read, along with several crying emojis, “No way. I’m shaking.”
Trisha is not the only newcomer to the Sam Levinson series. The Just Trish host is set to join the cast alongside Danielle Deadwyler, Natasha Lyonne, Rebecca Pidgeon, Colleen Camp, The Fault in Our Stars alum Sam Trammel and more. Not to mention, Sharon Stone and Rosalía, whose casting was confirmed earlier this year.
Meanwhile, the series has shared that many beloved supporting Euphoria characters will return. Dominic Fike’s Elliot, as well as Paula Marshall’s terrifyingly calm drug dealer Marsha are set to be part of season three. Meanwhile, Nika King, who plays Rue’s (Zendaya) mom and Alanna Ubach, who plays Cassie (Sydney) and Lexi Howard’s (Maude Apatow) mom, will also be back for additional episodes.
Sadly, not every beloved character will finish out their storyline for the show’s final season. Due to Angus Cloud’s tragic death in July 2023, his character Fezco will be written off the series. Meanwhile, Barbie Ferreira, who played Kat, and Storm Reid, who played Rue’s sister Gia, have also confirmed their exits.
Nevertheless, Storm—who graduated from University of Southern California in May—is excited to take in Euphoria as an audience member.
“I’m very excited for season three,” Storm told Rotten Tomatoes last November. “I am so, so indebted to the cast and the crew of that show, to HBO.”
As she put it, “I’m so glad that that’s a part of my legacy and that I was a part of such a cultural phenomenon.”
