You won’t be scared of loving Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s latest red carpet outing.
The newlyweds, who tied the knot late last month, made their first appearance as a married couple at the fifth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles Oct. 18.
For the milestone occasion, the couple even coordinated ensembles, with Selena wearing a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown with crystal embellishments along the neckline. The 33-year-old topped off the elegant look with silver crystal dangly earrings, a black blazer draped over her shoulders and a bold red lip and sleek updo.
Benny, for his part, sported a black velvet suit with a blue button up silk dress shirt and black loafers. The record producer added his own personal flair to the look with a stack of gold chains around his neck.
Selena and Benny’s latest outing may be their first public occasion as a married couple, but the duo have shown off their newlywed bliss on social media in the weeks following their wedding.
After all, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum recently shared a sweet gift basket her husband put together for her after she returned to their Los Angeles home while he was out of town.
“I know I’m being dramatic but a day without you feels like an eternity,” Benny wrote in a note Selena shared to Instagram Story Oct. 16. “I wanted it to feel like home when you returned. I love you.”
In the basket, Benny included some of Selena’s favorite snacks including pickles, chips and queso and Flaming Hot Cheetos.
Meanwhile, the Only Murders in the Building actress has also shared plenty of glimpses into the couple’s Sept. 27 nuptials. Selena has shown several behind-the-scenes peeks into her and Benny’s special day, including photos of her Ralph Lauren gowns, the moment she penned her vows to the 37-year-old and even prepping for the ceremony with pal Taylor Swift, who gave a speech at the ceremony.
“Blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later gator,” Selena gushed alongside photos of herself and the “Fate of Ophelia” singer. “I love you forever and always.”
Taylor also couldn’t help but effuse over the occasion.
"I got to see her be the most elegant, gorgeous—not only bride but just—vision that I've ever seen in my life,” Taylor admitted during an Oct. 6 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “I've never seen anything so beautiful as her on her wedding day.”

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco began dating in July 2023, around Selena's birthday, Benny said on the Howard Stern Show in May 2024.
