Joey Lawrence’s family continues to blossom.

Nearly a year after the Blossom alum reconciled with wife Samantha Cope, the pair shared they are pregnant with their second baby together.

"Nothing is planned. Not even this," Joey, 49, told Entertainment Tonight while pointing to his wife's baby bump while on the red carpet of Dancing With the Stars’ 20th anniversary episode Nov. 11. "This is not planned. No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding."

And though the Melissa & Joey actor—who is also dad to daughter Dylan Rose, 2, with Samantha, as well as daughters Charli, 19, and Libby Grace, 15, with ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson—is excited to grow his family, he certainly doesn’t want the spotlight on him during this moment.

"It's not me. She's the one actually doing the work,” he continued, looking at his wife. “I'm just here going, 'Look at this.'"

As for how Samantha—who tied the knot with Joey in May 2022—is doing, she noted, "I feel great.”

Plus, the Marry Christmas actress revealed the sex of baby No. 2, gushing over how excited she is to welcome “our first boy.”

Samantha and Joey’s new chapter comes after weathering a difficult year together. Indeed,  Samantha, 38, filed for divorce in August 2024 citing "irreconcilable differences" and requesting full physical custody and shared legal custody of Dylan. However, four months later, the pair hard-launched their reconciliation.

And earlier this year, Joey shared insight into why they ultimately decided not to break up and instead work through their rocky patch.

“I think it's too easy,” he told E! News in July. “As much as you don't want to take an easy way out, or you think this will be the fix—it's not always the case. I just didn't want to do that. And she didn't either. It’s like, ‘Wait a minute. There’s something so special here.’”

“Things take a lot of work and a lot of dedication and reworking and retooling,” Joey continued. “That's life, though. As brothers, with your parents, with friends, in business, that's it. Everything takes so much work. Whatever it is, just don't give up, because you never know.”
