Daniella Karagach doesn’t want fans to get their knickers in a twist.
The Dancing With the Stars pro recently had to shut down speculation that she snubbed partner Dylan Efron when a behind-the-scenes video from the series’ Nov. 18 episode went viral, during which Dylan sought a hug from Daniella during a break between filming and she seemed to walk by him without acknowledging him.
“What was that???” the TikTok user captioned their video, adding of Daniella, “Intentional or did she not just see??”
And while some fans did indeed perceive the moment as an intentional diss of Dylan, the dancer had a much more mundane explanation.
“Not you catching me on a mission to pick my wedgie,” Daniella wrote in the video’s comment section, alongside laughing emojis. “So embarrassing.”
After all, other than an unfortunate rehearsal mishap in which Daniella accidentally broke Dylan’s nose, the pair have been two, very successful, peas in a pod—so much so that they made it to the season 34 finale of Dancing With the Stars.
And they made sure to celebrate the accomplishment after filming wrapped on the Prince-themed semifinal episode.
“We made it,” Dylan said with a smile in a TikTok posted to Daniella’s page as she jumped in celebration in the back. “I’m so happy we made it—we’re in the finale. We made it to the end, like we got the full experience.”
To which Daniella—married to fellow pro Pasha Pashkov—gushed, “We freaking did it,” before adding to the pair’s fans, “And it’s because of you guys. You guys are the freaking best. Thank you so much for keeping us here.”
And while emphasizing how excited the pair are to get to do a freestyle in the finale episode, Daniella unveiled her and Dylan’s celebratory meal: a tray of six double cheeseburgers.
“Both our stomachs have been rumbling,” Dylan said, while Daniella added, “It’s a party.”
he pair are one of five couples proceeding to the season 34 finale, joined by Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten as well as Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy.
