Alix Earle is throwing a flag on this latest rumor.
After a screenshot that allegedly showed New York Giants rookie Jaxson Dart sliding into her DMs after news broke of her split from Braxton Berrios popped up on social media, the TikToker set the record straight.
"What is this fake photoshopped dm u guys are posting," Alix posted on her Instagram Story Dec. 7. "1. That never happened 2. That wouldn't be on my story."
In the fabricated screenshot, it had appeared as though Jaxson had DM'd Alix "hey u single now ?" and that she had posted it to her Close Friends and written, "it hasn't even been 12 hours."
The online rumor emerged just one day after multiple outlets confirmed Dec. 6 that Alix and Braxton had called it quits after two years of dating.
As for Alix’s new chapter, she had stepped out for a fun night out during Art Basel Miami Beach Dec. 5, where she donned a white corset dress and attended her best friend's art show.
“I'm just so proud of her,” the 24-year-old said in a video posted on Instagram Dec. 6. “The art was so beautiful, and then on top of that, she's cleaning the beaches and doing something good.”
She was also on hand to host an exclusive party with SipMARGS—in which she is an investor—where she partied aboard a superyacht alongside celebs including Quavo, Brianna LaPaglia and Love Island USA’s Nic Vansteenberghe.
The confirmation of Braxton and Alix's split comes just a few weeks after she shut down speculation that her relationship had ended as fans noticed the NFL star didn't show up in person to support her throughout her season on Dancing With the Stars with partner Val Chmerkovskiy.
When one commenter wrote, “Ugh I hope u and Braxton are still together,” on a Nov. 28 TikTok recap of her time on the dancing competition series, Alix responded, “He couldn’t come bc of football.”
Indeed, Braxton supported Alix from afar during the Nov. 25 DWTS finale, for which he sent in a video cheering her on.
"I've watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows,” he said in the clip. “Good luck. Have fun, babe.”
