Best Fall Beauty
We tried hundreds of fall beauty releases and compiled only the best of the best right here. Click on to see the products your makeup bag needs now!
Algenist
If you're a fan of illuminator or highlighter, you need to try these luminizing drops! The technology speaks for itself: The formula contains red algae to correct dullness, green algae to correct redness, blue to correct sallowness and golden algae to correct discoloration and darkness. Apply it on the high points of your face, underneath your foundation—and let your makeup sparkle. (Editor's note: This is our favorite product out of all the fall releases.)
Anastasia Beverly Hills
From the brand that has basically perfected the liquid lipstick formula, comes a full-coverage foundation that can also work as a tinted moisturizer or for highlighting and contouring. How, you ask? With its stick structure, you control the application and how you want it to wear. Bonus: It's really great for on-the-go touch-ups.
Black Opal
New budget buys are the best! This lip liner goes on soft, like melted butter, and does not smudge for hours. Test it on your hand and see for yourself—solid!
Benefit
Watch out, Kylie—there's a new lip kit in town. Out September 30, four liner-lipstick duos in one beautifully boxed kit. We're loving the teardrop tip, which makes for a unique and precise application. Also on your must-try list: They're Real! BIG SEXY Eye Kit, which came out last month.
Burberry
With a few precise coats, you'll instantly see a curl and mega-watt volume with your lashes. Also a notable September launch (from the runway!): Eye Colour Contour in Pale Nude, a creamy but crease-free makeup pen you'll need to create your next smoky eye—trust.
Caudalie
For those of you obsessed with Caudalie Beauty Elixir (it was the only product featured twice in the 2016 Beauty Awards), you will go crazy for this limited-edition collab mist with designer Jason Wu. Think: a more subtle scent yet the same calming effect. One E! editor likes to describe it as "life in a bottle."
Chantecaille
Launched in August, this eye palette will not only serve as a beautiful addition to your makeup bag but 5 percent of proceeds will be donated to the Lion Guardians, an organization that protects one of the world's most majestic creatures.
For more selfish reasons, you should also consider: Luster Glide Silk Infused Eye Liner in Amethyst. Line the bottom of your eyes, like Olivia Culpo at the Emmys, to bring the drama.
Charlotte Tilbury
It launched in July but the Hot Lips lipstick collection is perfect for fall and E! readers alike. Inspired by 12 powerful women in Hollywood, ranging from Miranda Kerr to Helena Bonham-Carter, these lippies were made for a fierce beauty to behold.
Colbert MD
From world-renown dermatologist Dr. David Colbert, a firming cream with major results (you can see results as soon as two weeks!). Launched in August, this product features the good doctor's patented blend, including Tremella mushroom (for hyaluronic acid production), goji berry and a slew of skin-strengthening ingredients.
Deborah Lippmann
Launched in August, the very berry-hued collection of nail polishes is perfect for fall—burgundy, all day, all day!—and even better for the holidays. Our favorite? Cherries Jubilee, of course.
Deborah Lippmann Very Berry – Shades of Berry Nail Polish Set, $36
DNA Renewal
This is the perfect ultra-moisturizer for nighttime use. Wake up with your complexion feeling refreshed, revitalized and renewed from DNA Repair Enzymes that repair damaged skin cells while you sleep.
DNA Night Renewal, $130
EOS
This is your modern-day Lip Smacker. It recently launched but is already sold out on Eos' site, which means you need this slightly shimmery finish now.
First Aid Beauty
Launched in August, this exfoliator has been getting rave reviews. Once a week, treat your skin to a little mucor miehei extract (mushroom enzymes good for gentle exfoliating), charcoal (to draw out the toxins), Kaolin clay, and lactic and salicylic acid.
Fresh
If you're a fan of the brand's Soy Face Cleanser, which happens to be the No. 1 cleanser at Sephora, you need to try this milky version, which just launched in September.
Giorgio Armani Beauty
Let's be honest: Mac Prep + Prime Fix+ and Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix Setting Spray are the only products we tend to recommend for setting sprays…until now, that is. This new mist enhances makeup without smudging the products your tried so hard to make perfect. Available now at makeup counters and online soon.
Hourglass
If it's good enough for celebs, it's A-OK in our book. The triangular bullet is particularly useful and perfect for application along the contours of the face.
Laura Mercier
The brand came out with a slew of notable eye products in August, but the most notable is the kajal liner, which features a creamy texture made to create dramatic looks. We're talking about next-level smoky eyes.
Lilah B.
This dewy, lavender scented mist is another recently launched product to put on your radar. Did we mention it's also great for setting your makeup?
Mac
Always ahead of the curve, Mac is already predicting what will be the eye color trends next spring. This palette features deep muted colors from auburn to denim blue and was presented at the spring 2017 runways at NYFW, obviously. You can't have a completed beauty look without some lippie action, so check out the spring lip palette, too!
Milani
Cat-eye lovers, this is for you! It takes a steady hand since the formula applies a bit sheer; however, with a few coats, you can get a pretty color (we're loving the midnight blue) that will last and last.
Milk Makeup
Whether it's at a summer music festival, Halloween party or New Year's Eve rager, you'll have fun with these new tattoo stamps, which come in heart and star shapes. These beauty stamps brought us back to the days of Lisa Frank. When placed properly, however, they can complement any sophisticated beauty look.
Nannette de Gaspé
Did you know sheet masks are mostly water? Not these babies—these waterless face and body masks feature 87 percent active ingredients. Sure, they are bit pricey, but the quality is apparent (just look at the pretty, Japanese-sourced fabric)! The E! editors are especially loving the eye masks from the collection set, which came out in September at Barneys.
NUDESTIX
This longwear eye shadow pencil also works as a liner. Whether you prefer a satin finish or always go matte, this formula hardly creases. Bonus: Like other Nudestix products, this latest release comes with a sharpener and is paraben free.
