You wanna hear a story about how Taylour Paige is officially a mom.
Nearly two months after the Zola star confirmed her pregnancy, she gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, with husband Gary “Rivington Starchild” Angulo. In an Instagram post shared May 15, Paige noted in her announcement that she got into a car accident a few weeks after the couple welcomed their son, but that the pair are doing just fine.
"I have had the luxury of borrowing the Audi E Tron the last few months as we prepared for our son," she wrote alongside a photo of her cradling her son, "I'm no good at Instagram or clever captions, but I’m good at honesty. A few weeks before my son was born, I got hit by car who ran a red light as I was turning on my green light. As scary as it is to be in any kind of accident - I have never felt safer in one."
"Thank you @audi sincerely," she concluded, "(nervous system’s all intact over here :))."
Paige, 34, announced her pregnancy on Instagram March 24, sharing a photo of herself donning a long-sleeve white dress and hugging her baby bump, just one month after showing off her bump at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards. For the event, Paige wore a brown, ankle-length halter dress that hugged her belly.
The Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom actress and Angulo’s new arrival comes more than two years after they tied the knot on her 32nd birthday. Following the October 5, 2022, nuptials, Paige confirmed the celebration on her Instagram Stories. “Head up chest out!!!!!!! ROLLIN IN PEACE!!!!!!!,” she wrote two days later. “Yesterday was the greatest day of my life. God is real. God is the greatest."
While the two have mostly kept their romance out of the spotlight, they occasionally share their love on social media.
“It’s a really colorful ride of a lifetime we’re on,” Paige shared on a Dec. 15 Instagram birthday tribute to her husband. “Loving you, marrying you is a favor not of this world but beyond it. My endless love for all the ages. Thank you for being born. Thank you for finding me. You are the truest man of heart. I’m in awe of you.”
She’s also shared insight into her own private health battles ahead of her pregnancy. Earlier this year for Endometriosis Awareness Month in March, the Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F actress opened up about her surgery and the realities of living with the condition—which impacts the ovaries, fallopian tubes and areas around the pelvis—causing pain that “would make me see stars.”
“A really violent illness that went undiagnosed for 20 years but caused me so much agony and turmoil,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Finally had surgery fall of 2023.”
“So many women are going THROUGH IT okay,” Paige wrote alongside photos of her post-surgery. “Be gentle with us. I am so grateful for what I’ve been able to turn around in myself over the last few years.”
And while she expressed gratitude for the loved ones supporting her through trying times, she recently reflected on how a big part of her journey has also come from learning to love herself.
“A picture of me from a very different time and version of Taylour. 10 years ago,” Paige captioned the Jan. 25 throwback post. “And what always hits me right in the heart is how unnecessarily cruel I was to myself and what I allowed. All that betraying oneself for nothing. So just hurry up and stop it okay?”
She added, “Love you and loving every version of me!!!!!! Be good to those around you but please be best to you. I take care of me so I can take care of us.”
