Debby Ryan and Josh Dun’s house of gold just added a new member.
The Jessie star confirmed that she and the Twenty One Pilots drummer welcomed their first baby—a little girl named Felix Winter Dun—in a Dec. 13 announcement alongside intimate snaps from her home birth.
“We sat under the full moon—the cold supermoon—reminiscing on our life as a family of two, and told the child I was harboring that we were ready to become three,” she captioned the Dec. 13 Instagram post. “By midday, Felix was born under christmas lights with snow outside our bedroom window, right into her father’s hands.”
In the first video of the post, the couple can be seen embracing each other as Debby lays submerged in a birthing tub. And the 32-year-old credited her husband and birthing team for her smooth delivery.
"Joshua was an incredible teammate, and somehow didn’t get pulled into the tub and drowned and is taking such good care of his girls on this side of things,” she quipped. “I was fortified by an incredible birth team, and the strength and wisdom of some women who have supported me on this journey near and far.”
And she couldn’t be more in love with her little one, whom she also shared adorable pictures of in the post.
“Her hair is made of silk and her breath smells like vanilla ice cream and every chirp, squeak and whimper is music and everytime I look away and look back, she’s gotten smaller somehow,” Debby gushed. “I know too soon, I’ll look away and look back and she’ll be bigger and bigger still so for now I’d like to spend my days trapped under the immovable 8 pounds of Felix Winter Dun.”
Debby continued, “I’ve been a lot of things but her home, a grow light, a portal to bring a new soul into the world— these are my greatest honors.”
The Disney Channel alum and musician announced Debby’s pregnancy in September with a joint Instagram post featuring multiple snaps showing off her baby bump, as well as a look at their baby’s sonogram. As they gushed in the caption, “dun&dun +one.”
As Debby and Josh, 37, embrace this new chapter, they’ve done so while keeping their playful spirit alive.
"I always tried to envision what marriage would look like from when I was a kid, and it never really looked quite like this," the musician, who quietly married the Suite Life on Deck star in 2019, told Kenny Sipes in a 2022 interview. "When I was young I felt like my parents were just so grown up. Debby and I are just kids."
But that’s not to say they’re the same people they were when they first started dating in 2013.
"We've evolved and grown so much in our careers, in the relationship, as people since we first met," Debby told The Sydney Morning Herald in 2018. "It's cool and special to have that support system and we are each other's biggest fans.”
Case in point? The Insatiable actress commemorated her and Josh’s their first red carpet appearance as a married couple with a heartfelt reflection on their life together so far.
"I’d say one of the things I’m most proud of,” she wrote in the May 2021 Instagram post, “is making the best person I know my husband.”
