Tori Kelly Gives Birth, Welcomes First Baby With Husband André Murillo

American Idol alum Tori Kelly gave birth to her and husband André Murillo’s first baby on Nov. 11.

Tori Kelly was made for loving her baby.

The American Idol alum, 32, gave birth to her first child with husband André Murillo.

"Zayden Michael Murillo," Tori wrote alongside her Nov. 16 Instagram post, noting the name of the couple's newborn, "11.11.25, we love you so much, sweet boy."

The Grammy winner first announced her pregnancy on July 9, singing an unreleased song as she and André, who she married in 2018, held hands and kissed.

“Passed every test / Boxes checked,” she belted out in a YouTube video. “I’m ready for what comes next / Let’s make a baby.” 

And as her music career has continued to grow, Tori—who toured with Ed Sheeran amid her pregnancy—shared that she's thrilled her family gets to expand along with it.

"This year has already been full of highs,” she told People in July. “Getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career and now getting to start a family with my amazing husband.”

As Tori put it at the time, “We are just so grateful for what’s to come and can’t wait to meet this little gift from God.”

Finding out they would be welcoming their little one was made even more special after Tori's previous health battle. In 2023, the “I Was Made for Loving You” singer was hospitalized for life-threatening blood clots after collapsing in public.

Thankfully, after a few days in the hospital, she was no longer in critical condition. Three months later, the singer opened up about the experience.

“My family was definitely there for me," Tori shared during an Oct. 9 appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show. "I had a peace throughout most of it, but I was just kind of confused, and wondering what was going on. I thankfully had some amazing doctors who were able to just take care of everything and get me healthy. And it seems like it's a manageable thing now. I feel amazing, they're still monitoring me and everything like that, but I feel great."

She added, "I'm back to singing, and back to doing my thing. I feel really good, I'm really grateful."

The singer gave birth to her first baby, a boy named Zayden Michael Murillo, with her husband of seven years on Nov. 11. Tori announced the birth of her new bundle of joy on Nov. 17, leaving an adorable note for her son, “We love you so much, sweet boy.”

Chris Evans & Alba Baptista

The Captain America star and Borderline actress welcomed their first baby in late October, multiple outlets confirmed. Although the couple prefers to keep their personal lives private, Chris shed some light on his relationship with Alba before welcoming their bundle of joy.

 "We're laying low,” he told E! News in June.  “We're enjoying our time, just relaxing.”

Kelsey Grammer & Kayte Walsh

The Frasier star and his wife Kayte welcomed their fourth baby together and his eighth overall, a son named Christopher, in October. "It was like three days ago," Kelsey told cohosts Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle and Rider Strong during the Oct. 27 episode of their Pod Meets World podcast. "Christopher's just joined the family.”

"Labor was longer and more intense than previous births,"  Chad shared on Instagram Sept. 1. "Erin developed a severe UTI and kidney infection, which sent her into septic shock."

“Our baby turned 1 today,” Miguel wrote on Instagram Sept. 9 alongside a video of him and his baby, whose face is blurred out. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELITO!!!”

The NCIS star and his fiancée welcomed their second child, a baby boy, who joined his big sister Nakano Oceana.
