Season 4, Episode 6: Glease (2012)

— Finn takes over the glee club while Will goes on sabbatical in D.C. 

— Kitty alters Marley's costume to make her think she's gaining weight. 

— Unique was going to play Rizzo, but her parents pull her out of the musical due to bullying, and Finn has Santana step in. 

— All of the couples reunite and it's awkward. Rachel and Finn agre to not talk anymore, and Kurt says he can't trust Blaine again. 

— Rachel discovers that Brody is sleeping with Kate Hudson.

— All the kids at McKinley join the Society of Superheroes and dress up as their own superheroes. Why? It doesn't matter!

— Blaine almost rejoins the Warblers but then he does not. 

— Marley almost goes on a date with Ryder but then she doesn't, and goes out with Jake instead. 

— Ryder reveals tha the cannot read.

Season 4, Episode 8: Thanksgiving (2012)

— Sarah Jessica Parker and Brody join Rachel and Kurt for Thanksgiving, and SJP brings a bunch of her friends. Things get weird, they start singing about turkey, and Kurt calls Blaine to tell him he still loves him. 

— All the alumni minus Kurt and Rachel go back to Lima for Thanksgiving. 

— Jake pretends he can't dance but he can and something about Ryder and it's time for Sectionals but Marley's been taking laxatives to control her nonexistent weight problem and ???

— Marley passes out in the middle of the New Directions' performance at Sectionals.

Season 4, Episode 9: Swan Song (2012)

— The New Directions are disqualified from Sectionals, meaning they're done for the year and Sue can take their practice room. Long-suffering piano player Brad is finally free, and everybody moves on, until the last second when they decide not to and show up to Finn's rehearsal after a talk with Rachel inspires him. 

— Rachel gets an invitation to Whoopi Goldberg's fancy music party or something. 

— Brittany and Sam officially get together, as do Rachel and Brody. 

— Kurt's second NYADA audition fails, but he gets another chance and gets accepted.

Season 4, Episode 10: Glee, Actually (2012)

— Glee tries and fails to live up to the magic that is the 2003 film Love, Actually. 

— Artie imagines that his legs work. 

— Brittany and Sam think the world is ending, so they have Coach Beiste marry them, only to find that the world does not actually end, and then to later find out that the marriage is not real. 

— Sue gives money to Marley's mom. 

— Burt tells Kurt he has prostate cancer. 

— We contemplate giving up forever.

— Rachel annoys Kurt by acting like a diva, then loses to Kurt in a diva competition. 

— Blaine has a cold and Tina takes care of him. She proposes that they have a loving but sexless relationship, but he has fallen asleep, so she proceeds to sit on him and rub Vaporub on his chest while crying. 

— Santana pays a girl to pretend to be her girlfriend in front of Brittany, then ends up moving in with Kurt and Rachel when Brittany figures out it's a lie. 

— Finn kisses Emma during wedding prep, and we're throwing things at our TV's.

— Kurt and Blaine hook up in a car in the parking lot at the church where Emma and Will are getting married. 

— Sue shows up an a wedding dress identical to Emma's. 

— Emma has a panic attack and runs away, but Will still wants to have the reception. 

— Everybody hooks up after the reception: Rachel and Finn, Kurt and Blaine, Jake and Marley, Santana and Quinn, and Artie and some girl named Betty. 

— Rachel goes back to to NY to find that Brody has decorated the apartment with hearts, and that she might be pregnant

— Something about Marley and Jake and Ryder.

— Rachel is not pregnant, and Brody is not a drug dealer, but he is a secret hooker.

— Will and Finn try to work out their issues through 90's boybands, but Will isn't over Finn's betrayal, so Finn packs up his desk and decides to get a teaching degree. 

— But first, Finn heads to New York to confront Brody and punch him in the face a few times.

— Rachel finds out about Brody being a gigolo and confronts him. He confronts her about sleeping with Finn, and they officially break up. 

— Sam realizes that Blaine has a crush on him, but he's cool with it. 

— Blaine claims that Phil Collins should be considered a guilty pleasure, but we can't hear him while we're blasting the Tarzan soundtrack.

— Brittany is pretty sure a meteor is headed for Lima and is going to kill them all. 

— Everyone is terrified when a gun goes off in school, and Sue takes the blame for it and is fired even though Becky was actually the one who brought the gun. 

— Ryder discovers that he's being catfished by "Katie," and that the culprit is apparently in the glee club.

Season 4, Episode 19: Sweet Dreams (2013)

— Shelby shows up in New York to help Rachel pick a song for her  Funny Girl audition, then calls Finn, and eventually picks "Don't Stop Believin'."

— Puck moves in with Finn at the University of Lima and turns it into a constant party. 

— Rachel gets a callback for Funny Girl. 

— Brittany gets an interview at MIT, obviously. 

— Puck ends up back at McKinley to help Will with the glee club for college credit, as long as he can be treated as an equal. Will welcomes him and makes the announcement to the club. This is Finn's last scene in the show.

— Santana just wants to dance, so she's been working as a stripper and a cage dancer, but a ballet gala inspires her to take real dance classes.

— Blaine buys Kurt a wedding ring despite the fact that he and Kurt are not currently dating. 

— New Directions win at Regionals, but it's almost an afterthought. 

— Will and Emma have a surprise wedding and this time, it actually happens.

Season 5, Episode 1: Love, Love, Love (2013)

— Sue is back at McKinley since Becky confessed to being responsible for bringing the gun to school. She plants a bunch of incriminating things in Figgins' office to get him fired so that she can be principal, which works perfectly.

— Rachel and Santana get jobs at a singing diner with super cool uniforms. 

— Kurt and Blaine get back together. 

— Artie and Kitty start dating. 

— Blaine recruits pretty much everyone he knows to help him propose to Kurt on the stairs at Dalton where they first met. Kurt says yes.

— Santana meets Dani (Demi Lovato) at the diner and they eventually kiss.

— Tina wins prom queen after alienating everyone around her, but it's all a ruse just to pour a slushie on her head, Carrie-style. 

— Rachel is cast as the lead in Funny Girl.

— Kurt starts a band with Santana and Dani called "Pamela Lansbury." Adam Lambert plays a guy named Starchild who auditions, but is rejected by Kurt, until Kurt changes his mind later. 

— Rude cheerleader Bree tries to seduce Jake away from Marley to sabotage the glee club, but it doesn't take much seduction, because he goes right to Bree when Marley doesn't want to have sex. 

— Marley gets suspended from the glee club for a week because she refuses to dress like Lady Gaga instead of Katy Perry. 

— Sue then suspends the whole glee club for dressing like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

Season 5, Episode 5: The End of Twerk (2013)

— The glee club learns to twerk, which sends Sue on a mission to ban twerking nationwide. 

— A riot breaks out over the gendered bathrooms. It's chaos. 

— Kurt gets a tongue piercing and a tatto that initially says "It's get better," but he gets it changed to "It's got Bette Midler," which is oddly perfect. Rachel gets a tattoo of Finn's name. 

— Marley finds out that Jake cheated on her with Bree.

— Sue has Unique give her a makeover to help her be named permanent principal, and it works.
